CORNING A pedestrian versus vehicle collision at 6 p.m. Monday sent one Corning man to Enloe Medical Center in Chico with major injuries, including a severed thumb.

So sorry for all involved. I hope the poor elderly man survives alright and has family around to care for him. As for the driver, it was not your fault so try not to feel to terrible. Just an awful accident.
