The Mayor

He should let departments hire who they want let them do they're jobs quit meddling in things that he doesn't know anything about do the job that he was hired to do and quit complaining about his pay.

we have a good mayor. I like the job he is doing, but if he lets the water bill rates change, he will not be in office next time we elect!

Get rid of him and put someone in with a Spine and Gut.

A good manager deligates. He hires or keeps department heads and lets them run their departments including hiring and firing.

It is called micro manageing. It is the old way of doing business. It is now the wrong way to do business. Al I hear about him is that he wants more money and ruins te morale of the city workers. He takes all of the credit for everything.

So true...he complains about other Dept. heads making more money than himself and is always complaining about Barry and his salary for doing nothing....Mayor is as fake as a $3 dollar bill...lol

I tried to tell you all , just put his picture in the paper every week , it will all be just fine . Another Corning positve . Whats next for our fair little city .

He shops buys and even goes to Church out of town while telling others to stay home. He takes other peoples ideas runs with them and then takes full credit for them if they work but blames others when they dont work out. He is a me and I type of person. He acts religious but is a back stabber.

I hear the same crapola. He knew what the job paid when he ran. He then tried to double the pay because he is jealous of what others make. He does not work well with others and is not a team player. I am very active in town and see what you are saying.

His wife is the same way as him only nuttier. They act like they are better than most people. They are out for themselves only. Most employees don't like them and only put up with them to keep they're jobs. Vote new.

We dont need Dewayne Phelan and we dont need J.H Ermert. We need new blood with good ideas that will ask the people what they want. Sometimes politicians forget that they are supposed to be public servants. These two forgot that for sure.

Getting rid of the mayor will do NO good unless we rid ourselves of the COUNCIL as well. Most of the council members do NOT want new business in this town and do put a stop to anything coming in. If we had a mayor that would STEP UP then I think you would see some good things from Barry, but our Mayor won't put a halt to the COUNCIL stopping all new business looking to set up shop here.

I don't know of anybody on the council that does not want jobs here including the mayor. I just think that some of them get in the way and make mistakes. I also agree that in any business you hire specialists to be over an area let them do their jobs and get out of the way. A mayor should let department heads run their employees and policies. If he really talks negatively about his coworkers behind their backs but not to their faces then he deserves whatever happens to him.
