I purchased a vehicle from Brose and was told by the salesman, Clay Wells, that the vehicle would be run through service if I decided on that vehicle since the "check engine" light was on. I did decide on that vehicle and when I went to pick it up, I was handed 1 key...no spare, no remote, nothing else. They finally "found" another key (I'm going to have to buy the remote). Then I got in the car and the check engine light was still on. I had gone to the gym across the street so I called them. I talked to the sales manager and told him the situation and he told me to bring the vehicle in the next working day. I brought the vehicle home and the salesman called me saying he doesn't remember saying that since my husband and I test drove sooooooo many vehicles (I drove 2, hubby didn't test drive any) and that he was in so much trouble because I wanted a spare key that they wanted to undo the sale (of course, by this time I've but gas in the vehicle). So now I have to find the time to contact the lender to see if the loan can be undone and then start all over again looking for a vehicle. I should have listened to my 2 friends that got screwed by Brose but I thought these were isolated incidents, obviously this is the way they do business. The second call I make after I call the lender will be to the BBB (which should stand for Beware Brose Buyers)!

Sounds like that same scammer that sold me mine about 5 years ago. He said " now iam gonna do you a favor but you can't tell because I will get in bad trouble" I thought YES! Somebody in this world still cares about folks. He said here's you a second key to your car. If they knew I gave this to u I would be in big trouble!! I was thinking to myself. U stupid s.o.b it's my new car I paid 35k for and you are supposed to keep one of my keys?? Boy he really did me a big favor! Giving me my own key! NEVER buy from a dealer like that. NEVER. Just giving away about 3k extra $..

I bought a brand new Xterra from Brose and the rear speaker was defective from the first day. I took in in repeatedly and then they told me to stop bothering them with it!

I bought a car from them two years ago and my vehicle has messed up twice. They fixed it, but I had to be very rude with them in order for things to get done right.

I've had no problems with my purchase from them. The salesman I dealt with was friendly and straightforward the whole time. Plus, he gave Me both keys without any of the stuff you're talking about.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience but you can't say an entire business is bad because of one salesman doing something like that. However, I'm glad you posted his name so that others know not to deal with him.

No the whole place IS BAD. It needs to be shut down. They survive of the repeat customers that dont mind paying an extra 3 grand to keep from going out of town. Mike Brose thinks he is a god, up in his high chair!!! What a joke. Just look at the place. Then look at how they all act. Last look at the prices. Next drive to ANY other new dealer and see the way it should be.

I've bought several vehicles from Joseph and would highly recommend him to anyone. In fact, all the folks there are good honest folks. I moved to Corinth in 1995 and have never heard anything positive about Brose. They do not have a good reputation!

My husband and I bought an Explorer there 2 weeks before my son was born and it was 8 years old, after financing we paid almost 10 thousand for the truck, the leather on the console was ripped, they told me to go to a junk yard and buy a new one, the driver side door had a huge gash in it and the stripe was coming off, we tried talking them down a little on the price because of the shape it was in. They refused. We financed it anyway because it was so close to our baby's due date. We needed a car. We paid weekly payments of 92 dollars a week. They made us leave the truck for the first day so they could install a computer in it. In other words everytime u made your payment, u got a code. U pointed a little remote to the dash and punched the code in from the remote, it gave u 7 beeps. 1 beep for each day til the next payment. Sad thing is, if u don't make your payment, they can shut your vehicle off to where it won't start! I had nothing but problems with my vehicle. My son was 4 weeks old and it was 102 outside and I had went to get groceries, the computer started beeping and I and I had just made my payment and the paper they had given me had a bad code, the computer refused my code, I tried the emergency code which supposedly gives u like 24 hours and it refused it to. So here we were, burning up, no way to start the truck. I called Michael Brose and of course he had gone for the day and when I talked to the ladies in the business department they couldn't approve anything! Not enough long enough to get me back home! So my infant and I waited for almost 2 hours in the heat before my husband could get back in town from work and pick us up. I was in tears I was so mad. Scary thing is I've heard they can shut off while your going down the road and or can short out your vehicles computer system and shut u down. How dangerous??? I vowed after being treated like that I would never go back there again! Ever! To this day I remember, one thing, and that was looking at Michael Brose and him treating me like trash because my credit wasn't good enough for a decent vehicle according to them while I'm being lectured I'm looking at his unclipped dirty fingernails and tattoos all over, in his nasty un ironed white "dress shirt" yeah right....who's trash?

I second that! Long Lewis Ford is AWESOME! After our bad expierence with Brose we went to Long Lewis and bought a Mercury Mountaineer! It's gorgeous! I have not had any problems at all! We got a good deal and the people are so friendly. They don't look down their nose at you and treat you like your the customer and they appreciate your business. Unlike Brose who thinks they are doing you a favor! NOT! Allen Martin was who we always dealt with and he is a sweetheart! I'm about ready to park the mountaineer and get buy a car. Of course I'm keeping the Mountaineer, it's perfect for travel. I know I will def go back to Long Lewis! Bravo to yall! You will always have my business and my family's business!

No big deal. Reach under the dash and rip the box out. It's just spliced into a couple of ignition wires. Works great!

Bought two cars from them.... Not a mins trouble. It depends on who your sales rep is and if he takes care of you after the sale! Needless to say, mine has!!!!!

It should not matter who the sales rep is. Brose should stand behind every car they sale!!!

In "02" I bout a new car from them and is there not a lemon law? If you not satisfied you can return it in 72 hrs.? Well I wasnt satisfied with the car and tried to carry it back before my 72 hrs. was up and they pretty much toldme I was screwed that I couldn't get my other vehicle back. I called them every bad name I could think of and my salesman was Demario Norman which he is a theif and has been caught stealing from places and locked up so he got his karma! I tell everybody not to buy from brose!!

i worked at a Ford deealership in another state and some of the things i have just read blow my mind these things sound like something a fly by night used car dealer would do; not a established new car dealership my dealershiop wasnt the best but as far as i know the customers were not treated this way ever---in the car business return business is the true bread and butter so if these stories are real Brose wont be around much longer

I used to work at a service center in town and I know of two seperate lil old ladies they just really screwed on deals. Grant Brose will bust hell wide open no doubt.

if you drive anything other than a ford you are a dummy.you people in Corinth will never learn that buying a piece of junk used car that already has the check engine light on is a no no anyway,I hope the wheels fall off.
