Let's hear some horror stories, because my next call is going to be the BBB, watch and see. If they can't do the customer right, then they don't need to be doing business.
And before someone gets on here bumping their keys about slander and libel, IT'S ONLY LIBEL IF IT'S FALSE!!! And another thing, if it's gonna be a long job to do, don't quote us it'll be a quick fix, then tell us it won't and not give an projected time of completion, GO ASK SOMEONE WHO IS WORKING ON IT. THEN GET BACK TO US! No sense in this crap, you put all mechanics in the area in a bad light. Needless to say, I will never do business with Crossroads, ever again.

I work there and there isnt any crooked people. The owner, chris, is a great guy. every body works hard. Due to unexpected things in auto mechanics, we can only estimate a time, not a guarantee. a quick fix can turn into a 3 day job.

Not only that but I requested our old parts (of which there was no core charge) and we were told no. A shop provides a service to the customer and when we pay well over double what we were quoted, and then it wasn't done when we were told. This is not the first time I've had ill feelings about the crossroads auto service on Tate st. In fact, several people I know, as well as some acquaintances have told me their horror stories.
I went in to get an inspection sticker and he refused to give me one because I had a loud muffler, claimed I needed a flex pipe. The fucking thing didn't need a flex pipe because I had just gotten done putting a full exhaust on it. I know my stuff on cars, I have several years turning wrenches and many certifications, so don't play folks for stupid because they wear nice clothes.
My point is made, I will never do business there again, and I will not recommend them to do anything else for anyone I know.

I can bet there is not one single auto repair shop in the entire country that hasn't had a customer complain about something. I know for a fact that Linda has had trouble in the past with a few employees trying to take advantage of her and possibly of their customers and they have been dealt with. Linda and Chris are super nice people. They have done work for me before in the past and have never overcharged me for anything. I've always been happy with the service I've received from them and I would recommend them to anyone. As far as inspection stickers go, yeah they can be strict about putting them on vehicles because technically they are suppose to be. If you look at a lot of vehicles on the road right now there is no way they should legally have an inspection sticker on them but some places don't actually inspect the vehicles like they are suppose to. I'm sorry that you took your vehicle to a place that actually does this. All of the guys at Crossroads are good guys

I agree, they tried to get me for almost 400 bucks one time to fix my car when I already knew what was wrong with it. I was trying to get my car fixed, because I work a lot so I didn't have time to mess with it. Needless to say I went and got my car and fixed it that weekend for 60 bucks lol.

It didn't need a flex pipe. I have said my part, and I'm done. I did this so people could use caution when going there. I did my part to save some other working class person. And another thing, sometimes it's more than I can do on my already busy schedule. Think before you type.

I bought my car from them and they were more than helpful! I appreciate everything they have done for me, including fixing a bad dent for cheaper than anyone else would.
