Saw an ambulance trying to get through Harper road at the round-a-bout. Last time I checked, Harper wasn't a parking lot. If you idiots can't get into the school's lot, you don't form a line and block Harper road waiting. You pull off somewhere else and wait. Love how we just make our own rules around here.

It wasn't an emergency...so it doesn't matter.

Typical laid back stupid Corinth response. Let's wait until it is an emergency and someone doesnt make it to the E.R. On time....good thinking...makes sense to me.

You are missing the point!
What if it were an emergency?
None of the people in their cars knew it wasn't.
Everyone would feel differently if it were their loved one in the ambulance trying to make it safe to the hospital.

OMG. I know it wasn't an emergency....THIS time. I'm saying let's not sit by and wait until there is one. Bottom line is you shouldn't be allowed to block a main road like that. Just like on Cass when there's sometimes a line at the Comcast drive up...these idiots will sit and block a whole lane of Cass traffic. If the line is almost in the street, then you don't get in the line!! Same goes for blocking an even busier street like Harper especially where it's only one lane.

What do you expect? Are you complaining because you think the police will enforce a law to keep the road clear? Think again. You may as well save your energy for something else.

Of course something can come out of it, this person could get all upset making his blood pressure go up, inducing feelings of a heart attack, resulting in emergency call, you being dispatch to help him. Thus, him getting this way, causing all these chain reactions is giving you a job where you can make money to pay bills and buy groceries giving someone else a job to provide these services to you and your complaining. There is your outcome.

Well evidently u people don't have kids at this school.. It was the first day of school, it takes time to get things goin smooth again!! I understand that there should be room for EMERGENCY vehicles to go through, so why don't y'all come up with a new way to get these kids picked up!!

I'm sure the school/community would love any suggestions or input.

well for one!! I had my kids riding a bus and took them off cause of smart a$$ little punks that made my kids cry everyday!! Cuz the drivers was too scared to do something about it. I rode a bus too when I was in school but don't mean I want mine goin through that trouble on the bus!! And maybe one day they will find a better way to get the car line moving better!

Sounds like they need to build a parking lot beside the school.
Amen! Somebody finally gets it!! You don't build a facility such as a school without leaving ample room for parents to park. You CANNOT block a major street and intersection! It's unfair to other drivers. If you are the driver that's gonna block a street, then you don't get in the line. You park somewhere else and wait. Period. What gives you the right to block an intersection? These people just don't get it. If there's a big party at the end of your street and there's a line to drop people off because it's raining, do I have the right to block you in your driveway? You think the fools attacking this post would just sit quietly and not complain about that? Bottom line is that most people in Corinth have rules based on what's best for them....the rules only change if it fits THEIR needs.

The railroad would not let you put a stop sign there. The roundabout does work. It just cannot handle traffic trying to turn onto Droke road when it is backed up to the roundabout. Everything else the roundabout works great.

Let the K-2 get out at 2:45 and 3-4 get out at 3:15
That should alleviate half the traffic.
Another option would be to let you kid ride the bus.

When you plan to build Anything, do you not look at All things involved? I pick up my child in ramer, traffic is always backed up down hwy 57, as I was there mon. I watched as a car, comming from other direction STOPS!! and waits for someone to let them in!! I thought what a selfish person and what a mess. Hwy 57 was blocked completly. Now ramer has been there a long time and has grown. I can understand this, just not someone comming from the other way stopping, that 's just plain dumb and selfish, but the new school in corinth has NO excuse! This is poor :poor planning! People have a right to be upset!
