lynn camps new coach

From what I understand the boys are extremely excited! I have also heard there are a handful of former players who are trying to discourage them. This is sad. These boys need uplifted and need everyone's support. No matter who you were pulling for to get the job, it is said and done. If you are a true fan, you will get behind these boys and their coach!

If it came down to credentials then Duncum would have gotten the job easily...Matter of FACT Duncum was voted 4-2 to be the coach but Huelitt Said NO. This is all about Politics....Why is Russell not married? I heard his girlfriend put the wedding off because he has very bad anger issues. He should fit right in....Good Luck Coach

Enough of who got hired and why they got the job. The Coach is hired and in place, now lets all stand behind him and more importand the boys. These kids need our support, they put hundreds of hours into lifting, practice, and preperation. This is about a Scool, community, and the kids not who got the job and why.

They don't tell candidates, or people who applied for a job, how many people applied or where they are from!

we're all waiting on that azz whooping from anybody from the burg, you may win the football game, but you sure ain't gonna be whooping anyone's azz from the camp, you never have and you never will

Instead of all the negative comments why not be excited for Lynn Camp and give them a chance. These boys and coaches deserve this much! It will be a rebuilding period for them and they will need patience and love from the community! All the parents need to get on board and help out in any way they can. There has always been jealousy between all surrounding schools and there always will be. I remember when Whitley beat Corbin for the first time! Good luck Lynn Camp and coaches! I might just attend a few games of support myself!!!!

when did Whitley beat never have they ve not played since 85 or 86 an Whitley was way down then now Williamsburg beat them in 05 or 06 but I do think Whitley Williamsburg and Lynn camp all should have a chance to play corbin an Williamsburg should have a chance to play Whitley an Knox an Lynn camp should play Knox an Corbin should play knox its would be some big money games

Also I agree with another poster. Ducan got most votes but fall out from North Laurel days with him and Heulett didn't allow Him chance to get the job. New guy may be better who knows.

From what I understand some family members of one of the appliacants are acting like a bunch of babies. Very very childish. Some people have no class. Just accept that your man didn't get it! Quit whining about it!

No matter how people feel, the decision is made. Support the kids folks! Provide support for the players and the coach--otherwise none of them stand a chance.
If the sniping and backbiting keep going--the only ones that will ultimately suffer will be those players! Get behind them and help them succeed. We need to pull together as parents, as a community--show these kids that play and the ones that don't too that they are IMPORTANT. Show them that we have faith in them, that they can reach their dreams, anything is possible with support. GO WILDCATS!!

i support our new coach 100 percent, i can't wait until it's football time again, i know it's gonna take awhile until we get back to winning, but i'm here for the ride, let the russell era began

Dude, a lot of people talkin about him being a redound? Big deal he went to Corbin. At least he's coming from Corbin to the camp instead of the other way around! Most of the people I graduated with send their kids to Corbin. No loyalty to the camp ne more. I say welcome new coach! Give em hell!!!!!

Ask the school for the SBDM minutes. The minutes will show you that four council members were present, not six. It will also show you that the decision was made by consensus not a vote. Speculation is just that.

Well site base minutes would not do any good in this case. A group of 6 people had a vote on this hire, including the AD. No consensus involved, Principal overrode vote of committee. Principal actually never has to listen to site base related to any hire if they don't want to. A lot of times site base is blamed if things don't work out right even if they really had no say so. Like I said Russell may end up being the best hire. At the end of the day only a hand full of people actually really care about this situation anyway.

dont know why he is not married, but i know he not only has twins, but is helping raise -girlfriends other child she has.
