<quoted text>I'm not sure what is going on but I know you are very right! I have heard numerous stories of people who have been brushed off by the police even when dangerous situations have occured. What about the home invasions that happened just a couple of months ago? Why wasn't that all over the news? It seems as if they are trying to protect an image by sweeping things under the rug at the expense of the citizens. I hate to see what this place is going to become.
It seems as though that is exactly what cops in Illinois do. They just sweep all the reported crimes under the rug. These days, in fact, they have completely stopped reporting all rapes, especially those that take place in Chicago. And I know for sure that rapes still take place in Chicago.

wait a minute!!! We are a hard working family with 2 kids from Palm Beach County. After seeing what our price point will get us here, we decided to make the move up to PSL. The home we can get for the same price point does not even compare to Palm Beach County. I thought PSL was going to be a great place for us to live with a house with so much square footage. Both my husband and I were willing to commute to work daily, as we say it will be worth the sacrfice. After reading these posts I am terrified!! It's a shame that the police do what they do instead of policing the community. My dad is a retired Detective from NYC and a retired Palm Beach County Deputy and would be appalled at what I have been reading.I came to this forum to inguire about the flood zones I have been hearing about so when we do buy we can avoid those areas but now it looks as though we should just give up our search for owning a roomy home. Then again, the houses that we can afford down here are in not so nice neighborhoods so maybe it will be the same difference?!? Anyone want to shed a little light here for us, please!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Scorpio

If something is bothering you, it's important that you say so now, loudly and clearly. It's no good bottling things up any longer because that will only lead to resentment and a slow-burning anger. However, it's important that you know when to shut up too, otherwise you might overstate your case or sound so demanding that you turn others against you.
