So far most doctors and patients haven't taken advantage of email to ease communications because ordinary email isn't secure or HIPAA compliant. But there is an secure online service www.housedoc.us that lets you do that. Its also free and open to everyone.

The one disadvantage of email in terms of information publication is that it cannot be shared by others and it necessarily private. In order to democratize medicine, I think that we should expose what doctors are saying to the public.

my allergies have seem to be acting up more than usual. It's been about 3 months now and i've been coughing up phelm(clear) and blowing my nose....i've tried several over the counter meds and it doesnt seem to be getting any better or worst but it still exists.Can you tell me what to do about this or what could this be?

i am 6 weeks pregnant and very worried about an ectopic pregnancy because i have had pid before and endometriosis... i was wondering do you still get impantation bleeding with an ectopic pregnancy

i am very worried, i got two big bumps on my tounge also my uvulva is really squishy and kind of swollen,what could this be from?

hi could i be pregnant?
i had my period on the 5th sept then had unprotected sex on the 13th sept...
im having bladder problems....i keep having to go the toilet...i cant take a wee properly, i stop half way because i feel this terrible pain the bladder...
i feel this weird pain in th bladder always even when i dont go to th toilet...
im having to go to the toilet every 30mins...i feel like i cant finish off having wee properly...
please help me...

For the past two weeks I have had a very light period that is a darker red/brown. I haven't had this before, I am sexually active about every week, however we hardly use a condom but I have also been taking birth control for the past 2 weeks, but I stopped and my light period hasn't changed. When I had sex last week, there was a lot more blood. Could I be pregnant?
