Another pathetic attempt by the Scum Sentinel to tear down the Tribe. Working with friends and business colleagues on a variety of ventures is somehow a crime? Sounds like this guy is a great entrepreneur who has provided legitimate business services to the tribe and has attempted to parlay his financial success into other areas. It happens every day in the "white" world I live in...shame shame shame on the Sun.

what is your problem with the Seminoles? Seems to me your barking up the wrong tree. You do much more you will probably get bitten. So what the tribe is a business. Much better than any city in Broward County. Remember the Diplomat that the trib wanted to buy and put in a casino? The city of Hollywood said no, and then they opened the casino at the Hard Rock. Good for them! Its better than any casino at a horse, dog, or falling down Jai Alai Palace. Get off your high horse and stop picking on the tribe, enough all ready.

You would have to do a lot more than just stop going to the casinos. Don't you realize what type of business tycoon the Tribe really is. Yes it got its start in gambling. But look more closely, you would be suprises at how much they truly own. Yeah they would take a hit without the casinos... but it won't stop the revenue from the other business. The Tribe is a whole lot smarter than they are given credit for. You really think they would make any type of business choice that could alternately hurt themselves muchless the Tribe? There is no way the people would stand for it.

unfortunately this article blows and fails to really explain the issue.... it is not a wonderful american success story. it is another avenue to get money from the tribe. the amount that 5points invoices the tribe for is 5 times the industry standard for landscaping -- even by other tribal own companies on the remote reservations. 100k bill for a couple trees at a lot with a trailer.

the other issue the scum sentinel is not exploring is how there is never a balnace budget -- hence someone in the finance department knows every september that this is going on and just covers it up.

and finally, let this article serve as a lesson to the bc boyz.... this is exactly what you get for cutting off jamie r's coke supply and suzie's plastic surgery purse. here's is the sick irony -- after years of taking the tribe to the cleaners the whore has now opened a literal laundrymat a mile down the road from the hollywood rez. sunbiz.org

Exactly, all Kris did was supply the need for a large demand for landscaping services. Big cypress is 47 milies west then go 28 miles north. What company can afford to send their crews out there everyday especially with fuel prices the way they are today. I Love Kris and Amy Lawrence to death they are wonderful people and parents. They would give you the shirt off their back if someone was in need.

then kris and amy should just bill for the work done and not pad the bill for david's kickback. over 100 employees of the tribe drive that distance (or more) to the reservations everyday on their own gas. big whoop. same thing with other consultants and services provided at big cypress, immokalee and brighton. none of those people are charging 5 times as much as the market rate for their services. kris and amy are not missionaries for goodness sakes! they are fools. because when the hachett comes down david is not going to protect them. just like with jamie. just like with suzie. and just like what is about to happen to you, carter. you can be friends, you can be business partners. but at the end of the day you ain't nobody but a damn white fool.

Let me get this straight. We play cowboys and Indians and the cowboys win and leave the Indians in poverty. They finally are able to make some money in the gambling business and everyone is mad, or is it jealous? Cut some slack and give them a break.
