I try to give people one or two mistakes, MeanO. People in authority often do things that make me think, "Oh, my lord, why are they doing that??" But sometimes it's out of their control, none of my business, confidential, or just something that I would have done differetnly. OVerall, I think the city manager is polite, well spoken, knows her stuff, and is strong. I like that in someone taking care of things. THEMEANOGRE wrote: I won't speak for anyone else, but I saw what I consider an impropriety in her conduct. It was that she was serving as acting city manager and as deputy city manager/CFO that she authorized payment of Mr Zech's law firm. That is the basis of my dislike of her as city manager. That and the fact that I don't think she was very clear in expressing her concerns about the effects of removing the "Fab4" as a unit.

The City Manager was well within her rights to do this you need to go read the city charter sir!! Section 8.01 lays all this out for you please get your facts straight!! You stated before if you were not sure of something you would nbot comment on it this is one of those issues where you are wrong sir!! Let's review the words that came out of the bumbling idiot lawyer's own mouth when he stated, "I have received repeated requests from various members of the council to provide a written legal report on the activities of the Office of the Mayor." Don't believe me, go watch the video and you will witness that he said it.
In requesting that report, those various council members violated the charter since according to the charter, only the council as a whole can direct city employees, even incompetent employees. Thus, the city mismanager was not authorized to spend the money.
Those are the facts and you would do well to stop trying to re-write history in order to justify the actions of those incompetent morons.

What I would like to tell you to your face I can not say in here but by all means please meet me some where so I can, unless you do not have the back bone to do this!! Wow brainiac, not long ago, you claimed that I was Mayor O'Dwyer. What happened to change your feeble mind? Because it will do no good your mind is made up and it will not change but the good in that is you are only one vote no matter what your mind may think!! Geddy_Lee wrote: You have yet to dispute a single fact that I present.

Geddy, I would have more respect for your comments if they didn't have all of the "adjectives" you use so loosely. You might be right on some of this, but when people read it, you don't sound like a serious reporter. People often just skip it or take what you say as just ramblings... and you might even be right on some things. Oh coverocks, I am right. You claim that people skip over it, yet you read it. That tells me that you don't know people very well.
I am not seeking your respect. Your side hates things like the law of the land, the American institution of the election process, so you conspire to overturn the elections that you disagree with. Believe me when I say that your respect means nothing to me.
I have never claimed to be a reporter. I am just an informed citizen and that is your side's worse enemy.

Ok, Geddy. Your flaws in the argument: 1. I didn't read all of your post. I get stopped with the name calling, so nope, I didn't read it all. 2. My side , whatever that is, respects the law much more than you do. Everything you write affirms your lack of respect and law -abiding work. 3. I would not want you to have respect for me because for you that means I have to agree with you - and blindly. Respect means that I think someone things well, but I may not always agree with it. 4. Your not -respecting me is a good thing! 5.You are definately not informed. Or you choose to only see one side.
