Klein Oak VS. Copperas Cove

As shown in two cluth situations, Michael Starr proved my scouting report. I commend his effort. However, Andy Wilson was the true blunder of the Klein Oak squad, throwing 4 interceptions (3 INTs were dropped which would have brought his total to 7) and failing to lead his team on any scoring drives.* Truly a poor performance by the young KO QB.

*The only touchdown scored in the game was a 67 run by do-all back Ossam Cook.

TO BLAME ANDY WILSON IS ANAL.
THE DEFENSE GAVE UP OVER 40 POINTS AND WAS NOT ON THE FIELD LONG ENOUGH TO GET TIRED IN THE FIRST HALF.SPREAD SOME BLAME TO THE PLAY CALLER COACH POTH AS HE WAS AWFUL FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS AND HAS YET TO THROW ON FIRST DOWN EXCEPT IN THIS GAME FROM HIS ON 3 YD LINE. BY THE WAY CHECK THE SEASON STATS WILSON WAS THE QB THAT BAILED POTHS PLAY CALLING OUT AGAISNT KLEIN AND OAK RIDGE.AND THE RECEIVER YOUR TALKING ABOUT FUMBLED AFTER A CATCH THAT COULD HAVE MADE THE GAME A ONE SCORE GAME .MiCHAEL STARR HAD NO BUISNESS ON THE FIELD AFTER A FULL TEAR ON JV THIS YEAR NOT READY FOR PRESSURE.MAYBE WE NEEDED WES THEISS I GUESS YOUR TRYING TO SAY.WILSON ,S STATS 1678 PASSING 1047 RUSHING.THREE GAMES WITH LESS THAN 10 PASS ATTEMPTS.NO GAMES WITH 20 PASS ATTEMPTS.POTH ,POTH ,POTH MUST GO FOR KLEIN OAK TO GO FURTHER.

KO spring game report.
Once again coaches have the new good players on defense.Muncie was used at receiver and looked great.Though don,t expext that during season.Oak
has always put there most skilled players on defense.No running back has steped up yet.Lots
of empty backfield passing but as usual linebackers blitzing off the end.Hope the staff can get steveson and waits to step up catching in traffic.starr could be a deep threat but still does not show sure hands.O line looked weak.

Cove's final scrimmage is tomorrow night at the Dawg Pound. They scrimmaged last Thursday night and looked very good. The kicking game, very worrisome prior to spring practice, has come on strong and the kicker booted a 59 yard field goal in one of the scrimmages.
The offensive line has teamed up nicely and the three running backs are just running wild.

Well the oak has been choped down.Game 1 saw cy creek as a team ripe for the taking but again coach smith tried sitting on a 5 point lead.which meant oc poth was in his element of not having to throw the ball.Poth did a great job working the three and out series thru the third and fourth quaters and creek tied it up with 138 left in the game.Now instead of playing for overtime Poth tried his first deep throw since the cove game last year and would you beleive it it was from the oak 15 yd line and naturally everyone in the stadium new it was coming.Picked off by a good safty and then Creek runs it down the exhausted oak defense,s throat.Since they had been on the field the whole second half because of oaks three runs and punt program.
Next it was on to the new cowboys stadium and oak was in it at half down only 14 to 7.Then unfortunatly for the oaksters poth was following in his dads 1960s style of 3 runs and punt.Final score 37 to 7 for the californians.Actually a good club but great coach.
Last week Oak took on Cy ridge first half another good game.but in the second half QB Wilson had his troubles.Two fumbles and two over throws in the end zone.So thats it for pasiing the football this century.
Here comes the wildcat.Poth had to be watching Monday night football with Miami playing.I wonder if he stayed up to see the finish.
Wilson will split time with sophomore Nick Borrotti as the Panthers qbs unveil the Poth version of the wildcat offense and a little of the california teams offense and some of cy creeks plays.Will it make a difference? Oak hopes so but giving up an average of 38.6 points a game, well we have to wait and see.
Klein forest has a great offense this year and a sophomore QB that has skills.
Undermaned, underskilled and a true test for the play caller.

You guys hang in there. No team is going to win their district year in and year out. When Cove went to those two state championship games (2006 and 2007) they were not district champs.

Protecting what...the son? brother? nephew? Doesn't matter. Looks like Andy's been real fantastic this season, too. I believe he tied this record for INTs vs Klein Collins if I'm not mistaken...

Have you ever stoped to think that we all will be Judged someday but it won,t be for our atheletic mistakes.I find it intresting you chose the word judge for your post name.QB Judge.Since you were not in any of the original posts under that name is even more intresting.You know the bible says that everything done in the dark will be brought to the light.I would like to encourage you to read the book of Mathew.Did qb judge use to be OAK?

Who is your pick for starting QB at Oak next year.
Barratti can,t throw and Conner is like 5'7.They really need someone to transfer in because Coach Poths kid is just in the 7th grade and I,ve seen him he looks like an athelete.I heard he will be the second kid in Klein Oak history to be a starter on varsity as a freshman since your favorite.
