I never knew Brittany, I just came across hearing about this horrible accident on the news. I saw the videos of her on youtube and they made me tear up so badly. What a beautiful young girl she was. This should have never of happend. My prayers go out to her family and friends. For her friends who had to witness this horrific accident is so sad. I don't know how I could have handled a situation like that. That poor girl..and the driver of that boat that hit Brittany should have paid more attention of their surroundings!! She's a beautiful Angel now. RIP Brittany Sage Lindt, you seemed like a wonderful person...god bless you and your family and friends.

Nice one. He was proven innocent as HE WAS NOT DRUNK. The captain of the power boat did consume alcohol while on the lake, but testing done on the spot at the time of the accident proved to be inconclusive. The captain was not even drunk. He was lucid, intelligible, and displayed no signs of intoxication. How, might you ask, do I know? I was there when Britany was pulled from the water and observed the following investigation by the authorities. TPWD and Lewisville PD performed all of the correct procedures as the captain readily admitted to having consumed alcholic beverages while out on the lake. Was he drunk - no way. He was a sober as baptist in church on Sunday and was visibly shaken and almost in shock.

Know your facts before you spout off.

If I were him, I would be suing for slander, libel, and defamation of character as that website still alleges that he was drunk. Then he could recoup some of his legal fees for defending his innocence. And, I would be a character witness for him.

I don't know but it was Dennis Rodman's boat but he wasn't in it. A worker of Rodman Excavation was driving it.

wow, this was your year brit, we missed you are graduation, we all knew you were there in spirit though, watching over us as we walked the stage. you were the most amazing person i think to ever step foot into marcus high school and it was such a shame that someone so amazing had to be taken away but as you said everything happens for a reason right baby girl.

This is so sad. Though it happened a few years ago, I just heard about it now. One of my closest friends sister personally knew Britteny and it saddens me that my friend and her sister have to feel so much pain because of some stupid drunk guy.
