Dang! I missed it! It's the funniest to see these guys acting so big and tough, but once the Taser hits, they turn into blubbering little babies. Funny stuff!!

Guess he will listen to the Police next time he is told to stay in his vehicle... Oh wait.... Maybe not, the taser most likely fried what ever brain cells he had left.....

I would like to see the video taken from the polie vehicle cam. Police have a tendency to get in your face if you disagree with them because they think the badge and gun gives them god like powers so that they can treat you any way they want and get away with it. I am willing to bet the police car video and audio might should this in a different light.

Releasing him to his spouse is cruel and unusual punishment.

I did not see any reason why the cops stopped this guy. I may get a little upset myself if the cops wanted to bother me for no reason (just cause they are bored). There are a lot of cops that like to act big and tough when they have a gun in their hand, otherwise they are punks!

COOL, I would have loved to have seen that. They had an entire show on COPS about people getting tasered...they all deserved it... and it was the coolest!

There used to be an attorney in this area that would help the victims of police brutality. What was his name again? Such a shame he's going to prison.

Lay off!! I work with this guy's Mother, whose an amazing person & I went to school with him years ago. You don't know the whole story. It's likely the State Troopers have nothing better to do Thursday morning. Besides, his mother reads this stuff, have a little respect & also to some of the rest of you too. Oh, & for the record he & his wife are a VERY happy couple!!!

Tom wrote: And I am sure the cops did nothing to provoke his response. Yeah right.. This should get interesting. 1. No officer who carries a Taser may do so without training that includes a ride on the Taser. 2. Very few people who get a ride on the Taser courtesy of the PD are not deserving of the ride. With the use of force comes the mandate that an officer justify the use of force. 3. When requested to remain in your car by the police one should heed the request. It's not like they told him to exit his car and do a hand stand and in the absence of this requested acrobatic feat a taser ride was issued. There are far too many people operating cars with serious personality defects. They engage in acts of hostile driving and general recklessness. Every engagement with a motorist has the potential for disaster. The cop haters complain when patrolmen "eat donuts" and complain when patrolmen pull people over instead of pursuing "real" criminals. Municipalities charge police departments with monitoring the activity of motorists and interceding when statutes are violated. It's a lose/lose. It's called mandatory enforcement. There are far too many horrible drivers that are not pursued and issued a citation. This guy won the jackpot. The community was a little bit safer during his brief incarceration.
