I couldn't have had a better son-in-law if I handpicked him myself. Brian was one of the good ones. My prayers are with the family and friends at this time

Brian was my best friend. I think of him every day. I try to come to grips with the pain he was going through. I myself have pain. Brian was a cool guy. If you were to meet him you would want to see him again. That kind of person. I pray for Brian. I know suicide is a sin. So I beg God to have mercy. This is a difficult subject. But it is what it is. So I pray for my best friend Brian Cunnien. I hope our lord will have mercy. I will pray for this tonight.......and tomarrow....etc..His brother Alan I knew. A very talanted Man. I pray for him too. When I read the stories of the saints I know just what God is capable of. His mercy. Just read about St. Bernadette.....of Lourdes France. wow. .Brian.....Rest in peace my old friend. I will see you again.Love,Michael Podgorski from Maplewood Minnesota

I want to assure you this was a terrible incident but you will be OK. Brian was my best friend. He was Catholic. As I am. I have prayed intensly for him. But as some time has passed I realize that the people who witnessed this are deeeply affected. I can only imagine. So I will pray for you and the others. Brian was a person that you and others would have liked. A humble, cool, smart, and other attributes, kind of person. Warmest Regards,Michael

I feel suicidal. My old friend Brian and his brother Alan both did it. Now I have had something terrible happen and I want to do the same. I am 99 percent sure I will do it. No one will listen to me. It's horrible. I think weird thoughts like Brian had courage. I spent 30 minutes today in church.. It was closed. I found a side door that was open. So I went in. It is a Chatholic church.....empty. I prayed to Jesus and Mary. I can't go on any more. It's weird. Me and Brian will have both ended our lives. We were so connected. I want want to thank everyone who helped.
If I ever meet you in the afterlife I will thank you. My situation is 50X worse than Brians. I wish I could say it's not so.
God bless everyone who posted about Brian Cunnien.
Warmest Regards,
Michael Joseph Podgorski

Did anyone ever tell him on a regular basis how much he was/is loved and liked. Hearing that never hurts.

I spoke with Mike's mother tonight and he is doing alot better. I have a favorite quote that may pertain to this...
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

To all those who have loved Brian, please always remember him eternally for his compassion, his gentleness, his caring, and his enormous gift of love. Remember him for the good times and not dwell on the sad times. Be thankful for him having been in our lives as we are all now a little bit better person, a little more understanding, a little more tolerant, a little more forgiving, with a whole lot more appreciation of what we are now missing. Brianís soul and spirit lives in us all and will forever. We are truly the fortunate ones but selfishly still want more. Brian chose to end his pain for his own reasons and to watch over all of us as well. We should never forget nor hold anger for the ultimate price he paid for surely he had always wished and struggled to be free. How many times have we all said ď I could have done more ď. How many ď what ifís ď will never be realized. Only God as Brian's Savior has those answers. Brian is absolutely where he yearned to be and the heavens have been blessed as well. We all miss him dearly and will forever cherish and remain faithful to his memory. May his journey continue to bring him happiness and contentment and may we all meet again someday in Brianís world. Peace and Love Brian, your Family

Michael Joseph Podgorski of San Mateo CA is in jail for broadcasting on Police frequencies from a bar in Burlingame. The events were ongoing for several months and Michael must be stupid or brain dead because you can't do this from the same place and not be noticed. He gets the MORON of the YEAR award!

This Was my great uncle. He was a truly great man! know ones why he jumped! My grandpa (his brother) was SO devistated! my entire family comforted him. about a month before Brian tried to contact my grandpa but he left messages and my grandpa did not know how to work his voice mail so he feels terrible, like he could've done something to help! i could never imagine this feeling! I love you brian! You will always be remembered R.I.P.

As we quickly approach February 29th...Leap year.... it is very bittersweet to all of us who knew Brian. This is the first Feb 29th since Brian's passing. Even though it's been 4 years now, this is the first "official" 29th. I myself have a very heavy heart, missing Brian and his wit and humor. I hope you are flying with grace with all your angels Brian, we love you and miss you still.
Love, Sue
