I remember at Yulee Middle School in 1994 in English class when a few students constantly harassed me and threw things at me or punched me because they perceived me to be gay and I couldn't finish my school work because of it and when I'd tell the teacher she'd look at me with a big, toothy grin on her face as if she were gloating and would always say, "I can't do anything about it. I didn't see it. I didn't see ANYTHING!" There is no way she could not have seen and heard a few feet away from her. She enjoyed every bit of the misery and ridicule I had to face. She was a sadist! That bitch! I despise that women and those people to this day.

I wish I had spent my K - 8 years in my parochial school I loved so much. The 5 years I was there, I can't remember a single bad time because of students, teachers or anyone else.
As I said earlier, I think a lot of times the harassment is permitted is because the teachers and administrators who are charged with protecting kids, often agree with the homophboic bullies, even tho they usually won't say so publicly.
