I don't see why it's so hard to protect gay students from bullying and discrimination in schools. If schools really wanted to they wouldn't have to tolerate bullying.

I agree.

But although they won't say so publicly, many teachers and administrators are as homophobic as the bullies they are supposed to be disciplining.

A cop is less inclined to arrest a crook if the cop is a crook too.

I live in Nassau County, Florida so I know what you mean on all those things you said better than many people and some gays in the United States. I remember at Yulee Middle School in 1994 in English class when a few students constantly harassed me and threw things at me or punched me because they perceived me to be gay and I couldn't finish my school work because of it and when I'd tell the teacher she'd look at me with a big, toothy grin on her face as if she were gloating and would always say, "I can't do anything about it. I didn't see it. I didn't see ANYTHING!" There is no way she could not have seen and heard a few feet away from her. She enjoyed every bit of the misery and ridicule I had to face. She was a sadist! That bitch! I despise that women and those people to this day.

I wish all the filthy demented homosexual perverts infesting our schools weren't allowed to bully the normal children into queer butt-sex anymore.
Queers have no legitimate reason to be around children.

Your teacher was way ahead of her time, good for her. Most people are onto you freeekin perverts and what you're all about. Perverted NAMBLA-queers should have their own NAMBLA schools where adult queers can spend their days giving all the little queers AIDS.

Are you talking about gay students? I would have gladly left f*cking school. I hated it there. Let us gay have our own schools since the straight so called teachers aren't willing to protect us from unprovoked violence.

There are some people who have gotten even with these a**hole teachers especially when they get the ACLU involved and sue. lol. So you believe in violence towards children? They are children for crying out loud! You crossed the line. Teachers and the school might think it's funny at the time. I should get a lawyer and sue her for not protecting me as a student and letting me be exposed to a hostile environment. I don't think she'll have toothy grin then when a lawyer gets involved. There have been students who have sued the school board years later and won.

I feel for you John. I went from a parochail schhol i loved to the Commack public school system, and it was NOT good for me there. And when I was harassed, oftentimes the teacher or administrator would simply tunr their back and walk away. So I got the message.

I wish I had spent my K - 8 years in my parochial school I loved so much. The 5 years I was there, I can't remember a single bad time because of students, teachers or anyone else.

As I said earlier, I think a lot of times the harassment is permitted is because the teachers and administrators who are charged with protecting kids, often agree with the homophboic bullies, even tho they usually won't say so publicly.

I have no doubt in my mind that these teachers agree with it and secretly enjoy the harm that gay students face. They are just as bad as the students.

I disagrre with you because the teachers and administrators are WORSE than the homophobic student bullies, because the adults KNOW better, and have a moral, and legal, responsibility to protect ALL the students in their care.

If more lawsuits were filed by students subject to homophobic bullying, or any kind of bullying, you'd see quick action to stop it.

If agree wholeheartedly with you on all this. Students and parents should have the hate crime law enforced, whatever protections apply enforced, call the police to report the crime(s), and take it to civil court as well. And get the ACLU and every gay rights organization involved possible.

I bet you wish you could register and keep an account, little troll, R1. What you truly wish is for some hot man on man, and are so angry that life has passed you by, that you hang on the gay threads 24/7 lashing out your pent-up sexual frustration on those of us who chose not to hide in the closet! You're so safe hiding behind your little proxy server. It must suck to be you.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Scorpio

You're in a very romantic and sentimental state today. You're also feeling quite sensitive and vulnerable, so you won't want to be around anyone you find abrasive or aggressive. If you meet someone for the first time now you'll think they're wonderful and your relationship will always involve putting them on a pedestal. But don't be too idealistic. They are human, remember!
