I found in a book By Horatio Alger ; Tom Thathcers Fortune; Copyright 1888, on the inside cover the name written in handscript pencil the name Arla Boot.
But that's not all i found an origional carbon backed reciept from the Standard Oil Company of Ohio Station 3215 Coolville dated 5/211926 NO.74423E for 5 Galls. Rayolight oil .16@ for a total of $0.80 total It was sold to one W.Hornsly The Clerk wrote in Miss Hornsly, and signed his name: J-- Rincsh??? Can any one help me with any of this. I would like to know if the Station is still there and if any one knows of either of these two people or their families? Plz contact me. rdbrown2@xyz.net |

My grandparents on my mother's side were named Hornsby from that area and time but his first name was John so it's probably no help.
