Imagine the possibilities of what could have been accomplished yesterday if the exact same time, energy and money had been directed towards (pick one or add your own)
- Assuring no child goes hungry - Homelessness - Child abuse - Public education - Assistance for our farmers - Cleaning up the welfare system - Ensuring proper care, housing and transportation for our disabled veterans - The plight of our elders left alone in nursing facilities - Domestic abuse - The war on drugs - Preventing teenage pregnancy - Affordable healthcare - Domestic pet overpopulation

Yeah, you little libs sure didn't like that, did you? Imagine if all this stupid ass same-sex marriage energy was put toward ending homelessness or domestic abuse too. The one has nothing to do with the other, except in the pea-sized brain of a liberal.

Yes it was touching to see people coming together to eat greasy artery clogging fast food united in their belief that they have the right given to them by some imaginary sky god to tell others how they should live their lives! Wow. I got a tear in my eye and a wOodrow in my hanes just thinking about all these self righteous folks with nothing better to do with their lives!

You got my vote if decide to run. All gathering together to share their hate for their fellow man. I remember Jesus doing the same thing when he fed the masses with greasy chicken sandwiches, making sure no "homos" were allowed any. Thanks christians for showing us the light. See you all in church Sunday!

The better question would be to ask anyone who shows up today how much of their time or money have they donated to any of these causes! Not much! Think before you speak!

Folks pour out to show their support in such a peaceful way and we are asked about our priorities. Folks decide to protest (Occupy movement) and resort to indecent exposure, public defecation, theft, and rape. Who needs the lesson in priorities?

As a matter of fact, I have been doing a whole lot of thinking about this and it is weighing heavy on my heart so I am being very sincere when I ask this question: If you attended Chick-Fil-A day, can you tell me what it was exactly that compelled you to go? I'm not looking for an argument and I'm not searching for scripture quotes. Just an honest answer.

Very interesting question Heavy. I have a heavy heart also, because I am so saddened by this overpowering hate that both sides of this issue seem to feel for the other position. It saddens me, because we are supposed to love one another. We don't have to agree to love, do we? Or, have we as a Nation, along with losing our ability to blush, lost our ability to love anything or anyone who is different from what we see as our own ideal? Very interesting. I'll watch for some intelligent and deeply thought out responses. Hope you have a wonderful day!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ANYONE REALLY GIVES TO OTHERS, WHETHER IT BE TIME OR MONEY, OR WHATEVER IT IS. THING BEFORE YOU SPEAK YOURSELF. THE ACTS OF CHARITY DONE ARE TO BE DONE QUIETLY AS TO NOT GARNER ATTENTION FOR ONE'S ACTS, NOT AS THOSE WHO BOAST FOR THE GLORIFICATION OF MEN. GET REAL IF YOU WANT TO SINGLE OUT OTHERS AS "THE LOST". YOU MIGHT CHECK YOUR GPS AND SEE IF YOU REALLY KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING. AND YES, I MEANT TO YELL TYPE AT YOU.

Could you be a little more specific with your answer? Going back to the time you got in the car with the intent of "showing support for our freedom of speech", what information led you to believe the First Amendment had been violated?

The First Amendment protects you from government action suppressing your right to free speech.
