You tend to forget, even though Jesus is the son of the living God, He was born of a woman, human being. As humans God gives us choice. Jesus being human had that choice to obey ( and make a show of the devil openly) or to say no. Obedience is still a choice of your will.
Jesus knew what He must do, but the human part didn't want to. That is what caused the blood sweat that He experienced, the battle over the human part to give in to the spiritual part. He is our example, He was tempted even as we, but He didn't sin.

I have been attending this church for several years and have also left work and went straight to church...Yes, officers attend church as well and if I got there a lil late I would watch the sermon from the lobby. I wouldn't want anyone to feel awkward with me walking in late in uniform. As Pastor Bobby has stated before, our church is a hospital not a courthouse...My point being if your there to wonder why others are there, you're missing the point you should be there to catch. As u can see as you enter the church parking lot there are officers directing traffic have you ever thought this man was on dutie while trying to serve the lord . Maybe he is one of the directors of the traffic and or changing shifts at that time and maybe this is where his church home is. I don't go to church there however , I here really good things going on there. The bible says where the lord is at the multitudes will come. I don't know the minister but again I here really nice things about him. It's funny how people perceive things in different ways. But never the less you need to be where the lord leads you and if life church is not the place for you then try church on the hill or Stevens street babtist or even trinity and of big churches aren't for you then there are plenty of smaller churches god bless you and I apologize for some Christians reactions on here not all Christians are judgmental like that. Is Bobby Davis still preaching here? I love to hear him speak, he is awsome, and has really helped alot of people. I hope he is still there, if not the church lost a good one.

We drive from Sparta as well. LOVE the pastors but am very unhappy with the church "family". Seems rather clickish.

OK.......... regardless of anything. PLEASE take a few sundays and go. If you get to hear Bobby Davis and his story you can relate. Because you or someone that has crossed your path has been in his shoes. And usually after service he has all bow there heads and has those who need extra prayers, ect. come to the front. It sounds like you just got spooked for nothing. This isn't a big city and we do not have that problem. Enjoy!

Why does anyone care what he is doing there any way? If we were being Christians and not judging others as we are not supposed to as the bible says then it wouldn't be that big of a deal. We go to church to worship God not to Gossip or people watch and Judge others. If you have a problem with that then don't go to this church go to another one that might like this behavior. I some how think that you might have a problem finding one.

And when I said why does anyone care what he is doing there I was referring to the deputy. Think of this also even if he is on duty he is getting the best of both worlds getting to work as some of us can't and getting to worship God our Lord and savior at the same time and one person even says his family goes there so you know that make them proud to. Why must we fall short of the glory of God to stir up trouble for this man just because you have nothing else to do. instead of wasting time on this go out and do something positive for a neighbor. I am sure you would get more reward from that than this.

These people did not come for the word of God, they came to pick and. Criticize and the focus was not on The Lord but focused on the how they think the world should be in there eyes. Carry permits are allowed there may be more safety in this church to protect them. It's not for bobby it is for everyone. I feel privileged to have first responders in our church, these people have been trained. And bobby if u read this I have never had the Bible explained so well , thank you for your service and gift from GOD.
