My family and I recently moved to the Cookeville area and were in need of some information. What we were wondering is this.Do most of the people of Putnam County believe that President Obama is really a Keynesian and the White House is covering it up?That some documentation is not actually real.Should Romney try to uncover this and expose it in his bid for election?I usually don't get involved in politics, but you now how they always come up in conversations. All I want to know is what the majority of Cookevillians thought so I didn't ruffle any feathers since we are now citizens of Cookeville.Any input would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.Sicerely,Ollie Vansvuet.

Have wondered about that myself. Wish I could give you some helpful information but I haven't talked to enough people here to even start to guess how the majority feel. Hopefully you will get some informed comments later this evening from other posters.

Is that even a point to discuss? This question has been answered to the satisfaction of some and not answered for others. What about starting a discussion over his economic(and Romney's) policies? The difference in their foreign policies is another good starting point. If you want a good intelligent conversation about the presidential candidates pick a discussion point about something that really matters.

Wow, this just goes to show that every numbnuts in Cookeville with a 6th grade spelling level will comment on everything they see, whether they understand it or not. Such a shame. Perhaps we should blame our educators, it confounds me that such illiteracy resides so close to my back door. But this is Tennessee, not sure what i expected... Cookeville is a great place to live OP, not a lot to do, but a good town none the less. This, however is not the venue for intelligent conversation, its very scarce on this site, i spend a lot of time here killing time til 5pm when my shift is over,(IT is kinda slow!) But if you want an actual meaningful conversation, look elsewhere, all you'll find here is a bunch of junkie rednecks with an opinion about EVERYTHING!

would welcome intelligent conversation. Sadly, we are in Cookeville, Tennessee. Ollie, my friend, I knew you were in serious trouble on this one when I read the title of the thread. You will find very little intelligence on this forum, but you already know that! Happy hunting! I like to read your posts, by the way. Your humor is top notch!

Also, welcome to Cookeville. Hope you and your family like it here. The people who post stupid crap on here are not representative of the entire Cookeville population.

Did not intentionally use "your name" but regardless of the name used someone else will also be using it. Seriously, and no sarcasm meant, the only way to keep anyone else from using a name you use is to register it. Again, I was not intentionally stealing your name but I do apologize and will not use it again.

Ollie is one of the best, humorous, intelligent posters on here. I like Al Henry also, but he seems to have vanished here lately.
