ttu nursing school

you dont make that much money lpns are one step appove movie ushers and only people who do it are people who did not make good enough grades to make it into a real school and get a real education and advancement

No one said anything about LPN...I will be graduating with my BSN :):):) I'm not going to defend myself to ignorant people on topix...I know what I am doing and I am proud for making that decision last spring! I know I will be a more informed nurse and have more clinical hours than any TECH grad! Have a wonderful time deciding!!

The people on here saying that you can't get in if you have less than a 4.0 or if you went to a community college are full of it. I was accepted on my first attempt and I had a 3.5. I also took over half of my prerequisite courses at Vol State.

It's obvious that a lot of people complaining here were denied and are ranting. Here's some advice: grow up. You not being accepted does not mean that the school is so shallow in its selection process or that it does not have an adequate curriculum. Maybe your immaturity had something to do with you not getting in!

First of all, if any of you know, the people who graduate from TTU Nursing are recommended among top honors. Getting accepted is a challenge; they look more of how you adapted to lower level nursing classes. A&P for example. Granted, politics are present, I'm sure, but for most students, having a perfect 4.0 isn't going to solely get you accepted & onto the teachers' pet list. It takes WORK. FYI, those "spoiled rich bitches who get in on mommy/daddy's money" almost always show their true colors & never make it past 1st year clinicals thanks to a well known few professors ;)

Honestly despite my original plan to Go to university at tech i was sort of forced into NSCC...well, it's a long story but tech hires garbage and i rejected them. It isnt the other way around, Hun.
