Anyone else in town have skunks all over the place? How do you discourage them.

Try this, borrow a live trap or buy one and put it in a trashbag with sardines or whatever skunks prefer, I know thay eat grubs and stuff I think. Put the trap in the Skunk area and wait. Be very careful if you catch one and approach slowly, then twist the bag shut quickly to prevent it from spraying you. Then take it and release it in the woods or river bottom. Be careful upon release too.

Oh, that sounds too dangerous to me! I'd be the one to get sprayed.

It only hurts (smells) for a little while, maybe a couple of weeks.
