How could I stay away when my heart wanted to say how happy I am for all of you and this next chapter in your familyhood! The photo was great for all to see and Bear Bear doesn't yet realize how much love he has already created by being shared with us. I wish for you a bunch of new memories for the 'ole memory jar added to those of Lobo's time with you. Happy Trails! We'll be waving.

What a beautiful baby and a wonderful bundle of joy. I am glad you could chose a dog from the shelter.

Congrats on the new puppy! I can't wait to meet him! I've been to the shelter before, super nice folks, I'm glad Ann was able to help save a beautiful dog and help you two out at the same time. I'll be seeing you around, will stop and meet Bear!

Busy Bee..we're not sure how Parvo is transmitted, but we would think that if your dog has been vaccinated, hopefully he will be okay. Best to check with the Vet ASAP!

In his first 3 days of being out and about with us, Bear Bear has probably met 35-40 people. Naturally he loves the attention, and we feel that by meeting new people and not being afraid of them or mean to them will result in another sweet dog in our community.
And a special shoutout to the lady in the little red car who honked and waved at Bear Bear this morning. You have no idea how you made our morning so much more enjoyable just by your act of kindness. Thank you so very much. And we are pretty sure that Bear Bear likes Larry. I mean you are "blood brothers" now, right?

Oh my gosh! Thanks for all the greetings...Indycorvette, Harley D, Well, and MommyJennifer ... I've missed chatting with all of you (and some others too) but I'm happy for Larry and Luann. Quite a few bash community pages and well, uh, I think we can see why, but we can also find and/or create positive ways to communicate on issues about our community though our conversations. I lost that sense of hope for a time and couldn't get some of the nasty words out of my head that people not only THINK and say about others but commit to written word for the world to read. I wonder: do people actually realize what they are saying about themselves when they say they live in a loser, dead, redneck hellhole?

Anyway, sorry to get off topic from the 4 legged bundle of joy but wanted to say hi and oh yeah.... another person claims the name of farm girl (usually nasty derogatory comments) so I'm registered now as
Farm Girl - Original. Have a great week-end!

Congrats again on the new Fuzzy Baby. I had to go look in the back yard and make sure my fuzzy one hadn't gotten loose!! They look so much alike it's amazing!! Mine is...(looking over my shoulder for the Spell Checking Police) Alaskan Mal. German Shep, and Akita mix. They look enough alike to be brother & sister.

And a special Welcome Back to Farm Girl you are definetly the Original!! Glad to see you again.

Hello everyone:)
Well I want you all to know that after many of phone calls we were able to get the dog warden to come pick up the poor sick dog.... I called my vet first thing 7:00 ish and asked they did say my dog should be safe with fact my dogs hots were updated but to never be to sure and wash deck porch with half water half bleach so we did that!
It took many of calls to the city to central dispatch and sheriff Depart I needed this dog to find some form of help it wouldnt do a thing, plus my poor dog wanted out.
My son was here when he showed up he did say this poor dog was mistreated:(...Why and how could somebody do that!!! But Im done venting... Thanks for the concerns thought Id update you guys... And Larry and Louann Im so happy you guys found peace with a nother dog:)

Bear Bear had to go to Dr. Keaffaber's this morning to get some meds.
Hmm..he's approximately 3 months old and weighs 24.3 pounds. Is it too early to start looking for a saddle?
