Why can't we just do both???
Both places have their good points and their bad points. With the lack of places to eat here, why argue about it?

Look, I firmly believe competition is good for the town, but Maggie's is the better buy. That being said, I do like the smoke free atmosphere and I hope Maggie takes note of that when she opens the new building, designing the smoking area smaller than the non smoking and separated better. I will continue to frequent Maggies as it is better, but am willing to dine at Stack's also. The other breakfast restaurants in town might as well close the doors until lunch. Now GIVE US A COUPLE OF MORE SIT DOWN RESTAURANTS that aren't fast food. I am so sick of poorly prepared and poor service fast food restaurants.

Maggie’s is better? Have you lost your taste buds? Maggie’s is only cheep! Cheep food Cheep Price! The only thing cheaper with less taste is dog food! And yes a good part of Maggie’s patrons are eating that too because they can no longer afford the gas to drive to Maggie’s.

we went to stacks a couple of days ago at around 1:30 so not to close to closing time. anyway as we was waiting for food they were running the sweeper around us. i didn't really think that was necessary and found it rather rude. the food was good but do you really need to do that as people are tryin to eat.

so tell me what day was that on, because as long as i have worked there the owners has always waited until after 3 and when all the customers were gone, and who started to sweep because i will let the owners know about this. You are right though they shoudn't do that with customers still there.

I have to say, my taste buds are fine, I can afford to eat wherever I want and have eaten at Stacks a few times, but Maggie's is better tasting food, the service is a little better, the waitresses always remember what I want to drink and are willing to have a friendly conversation and your coffee cup never gets empty, I spend as much money, because I tip well for good service. Yes times are tough and that's to Maggie's advantage, but she never let's it affect her quality or service. Support both and enjoy the food, but again, we need more evening places to choose from in this town, because we need it and you have to make this town attractive to more business owners moving here.

Took five of us out this morning to stack. Three of them "first timers". No one was disappointed. Everyone loved the place. Stacks is a fine establishment to add to the community.

well i went there a while back with my husband and 5 year old son, i was shocked at how pricey the food was! granted the food taste fine. but i didn't feel that we got what we paid for. our bill was like 27 dollars and we got pancakes and a peice of sausage. my son drank milk, my husband and i both had water. i will say that the people were nice though, and that was my only time going there. i just think next time i'll cook my own breakfast and save some money!!!

Remember the halibut sandwiches at the Steer-In?

Remember the night some guy got his windshield smashed with a beer bottle at the Steer-In; I believe one of the sisters did that?

Maggie was the cook at the Steer-In and for Bill and Nellie also; she sure could cook.

Remember the night Jerry Lee Lewis came in with his women and had a Steerburger?

I don't blame you, just to inform, you sure could make a lot of pancakes for $27.00.

I don't see where u paid $27 dollars!!!!!!!!!!Get your facts str8. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
I have the menu in front of me right now!!!!
You must of liked the server to leave a $7 tip because your adding isn't making sense. OR you got more but aren't telling us. Wonder why??? Please comment back. Now if you got fruit toppings that will cost you anywhere from 1.50---2.00 dollars. But they got the best pancakes around. Period.
