Funny, how if his father was a deputy for the county how this story has vanished from the news.

i remember the story of little tommy gibson, that is so sad, that little boy. my heart breaks for his family. i agree with you ed m. it seem some people just get more attention than others, and it really isn't fair in these situations especially because never, is one missing child any less important than another. it's very sad to see some of these kids slip away. they should all be featured and kept in the news, they are someones babys for gods sake.

i am pretty sure tommy's father was convicted of killing his boy, while the 2 year old was eating in the kitchen., it is just unthinkable, i can hardly belive someone could do such a thing. i dont think they ever found the body, they did find a shit buried under some stuff at the house. so sad

Sherry I agree with you ,and i dont understand why you never see flyers with photos of all missing children more often. you only see bands, and events. I wish i could get together with someone and start helping in that way. Im sure we could get office depot to donate paper or ink to support bringing our missing family and friends home. There are so many we dont even hear about. it is sad

Doug is what's commonly known on the topic forums as a troll! Stephanie dispeared when I was in Jr. High. I still think about this case and I think we will always wonder what happened to Stephanie. Doug is an @$$hole for saying what he said, but the truth is that he probably has no clue who she is and loves getting all this attention from his actions. I don't believe in giving him the satisfaction of what I really think. Everyone needs to focus on the REAL subject and that's Stephanie.

What was the story about Stephanie at the time of her disappearance. Did the police have any clues or leads? Did they feel she ran away or was the theory that she fell to wrong doing? I heard she was babysitting. Was she just gone when the parents of the children came home? Did these parents have any part in her disappearance? What about the children she was watching? Does anyone know what the details of this story were?

I didn't know the Condon's nor Stephanie at the time, but she lived only a block from me when she disapeared that Holloween night while babysitting. At the time I was going through a divorce and had tried commiting sucicide. I was held on a metal health watch for three days at a behaviour clinic. During my time there, there was a man in his early 30's that was brought in on a hold. It was later discovered that he was the last person to have seen Stephanie, and after his release we saw on local news that he was arrested shortly after his realease for burglary.. He had broken into a home, and taken womens underwear.. The husband had caught him, and severly beat him, but he escaped, and had hid out at the behaviour clinic.. Later after he bailed out of jail, my son-in-law spotted him behind the appartments where my son-in-law lived, and daughter lived. He was carrying someone wrapped up in a blanket up the hill from the appartments. Maybe Stephanie? The police searched the hill top, and surrounding area, but nothing was found. Later this guy was later arrested, and was sent to prison for the burglary charges. It was just a year, or so ago when I read from my local newspaper that a "cold case unit" was looking into the Stephanie case, and anyone with information to contact them.. I did. Told them what I knew, but never heard back. It has been troubling for me to think this case will never get solved.. I wish it could be. Give the parents some closure.
