Family supports man accused of murder

i knew this SO Called man he was a piece of shit he would do somthing like this he is not a safe person to be around

I know him too. I've known him for his entire life. So spare me your bs. No one knows him better than I. And since you were not there your hate for him has nothing to do with this does it? You have no idea what happened. You just want to see him suffer out of jealously perhaps. That's what it seems like to me. Those of us who know him will not be swayed. We know he is innocent. Nosy small town people with nothing better to do should learn to shut up.

The hostility that none ya's (both people) have for Ben and Amie seems intense.

To be perfectly clear up front so I don't have to rectify any remarks I make --- I'm not defending or accussing anyone of anything...I know little about this case / issue (only what I have read in the paper and what little bit posted on here).

I can understand someone's hostility towards Ben and Amie if they are CLOSE to them and know all the details of Stevies death (assuming the worst but obviously not proven at this point)...I would think ONLY a directly linked person would be so angry at them (because someone like myself that knows nothing or very little about them wouldn't be so livid or have such animosity toward them).

I respect an individuals view points and feelings -- I'm just trying to understand if the ill feelings have been a long term "hate" or if this is a result of Stevie's death.

And I also wonder what the comment meant when "none ya" stated: "ok so if he was the only one their except for the people up stairs who did it so really whats his defense that he did not do it" ??

Are you stating he was on the main floor while "somebody" was upstairs with Stevie? If so, how would you know that...where you there? And if you were than have you stepped forward and given your factual information to the proper authorities? I'm NOT questioning you as if you don't know what you are talking about...it's just clarification of what is fact from hearsay.

there was not has there ever been a murder of an 11 month old child in beloit kansas, nor has anyone been convicted of such...take note ...an election ,,political battle in the city and county of mitchell , if you will look back seem to be more important at that time ,,,the ex county attorney...it's real sad and unfortunate that the only evidence they have is insinuated/ prima face from a few people completelly unrelated to this supposed charge

you have a good point but in fact it is hearsay...what concerns me is when people say things like none ya is spouting off about that perhaps they are a threat to this family ...since i noticed other derogitory comments that also are crossing the line of being a threat to this family, perhaps a order of protection needs to be ordered...i will be sure to forward this to our attorney

what TRIAL????that was a preliminary!!!not all the evidence was laid on the table ,never is at a preliminary, it's just set up to decide whether there MIGHT be a case.i certainlly don't see a case , at least not first degree murder ,,,and unfortunatelly as this goes on every one looses the point ,while the guilty party walks free...

As I read this statement I began to wonder how many family members do stand back and observe things like this happening, often not saying anything?(I'm not assuming you are family...I'm just inserting a thought). Thinking back regarding family over the years I find myself reflecting back on "issues" that churn my stomach and make me realize how sick and twisted those we should love (or do love) can be. I often think because I have seen abuse, including emotional, physical and sexual, being inflicted on cousins I tend to have a lack of respect and understanding for those inflicting the abuse --- with that said, as family I now speak out and make those I "think" might be out of line (abusing their child in any of the ways possible) aware of my concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to bring it to the attention of SRS or other authorities...not because I want to make anyones life miserable, ONLY because I want to make sure a child's innocence is protected. I have always been amazed that "their" family was able to work through the problems they faced but I often wonder if someone would of spoke out...could they have been spared from the "monster" that lurked within their parent? Absolutely!!

I guess I just think that situations like this are sad, unfortunate and occur more often than we would like and family members should not feel guilt because they didn't speak out on a "feeling".
