old man Hall

I saw in the paper about old man Hall. I think its great he served for our country. This old man was a real jerk when he use to sub at school though. He would tell all of us we would never amount to anything or have jobs and such. Sometime the newspaper people dont do much asking around to find out the truth about some people. He talked to us kids real bad and I wish he would try that now cause I am 20 now not 14.

He use to pick on my friend Ethan when we were in school. Always said we would never make it in the Navy. I wondered why if the Navy was so great he came back to crothersville ? I don't think he would have lasted long in a bigger city.

If you people will put together something lucid about real time incidents of verbal abuse you suffered at the hands of this person while he was subbing at your school then I will print it in article form on the Austin and Crothersville,and Scottsburg pages here.
I would need names of the schools and who he was subbing for,(for instance,he was there while Mrs. Jones had surgery)so that people who read the article will take it seriously.

I was told he was let go as a sub at Crothersville because of the problems he was creating in the classrooms there. My nephew did not have any problems as he never did with and full time teachers, but often spoke of the things Hall said to some of the other kids in his class.Some of the afore mentioned comments seem to be right on according to my nephew.

That old man is creepy. I remember him too. If I remember right he use to hang out at the VFW.

Poor ole' Ed Hall. He makes sure that money is donated for scholarships to Crothersville students and always sponsors a little league team -- and he still has his own hate topic.

If you ever had him for a sub teacher you would no why most people don't like him.I think it is the vfw that sponsers the scolarships and ball teams, not old man hall.He is a real jerk.

Hey moron, he doesn't pay for nothing he gets donations, you must be his boy, your a real piece of work to, smoke any dope latley and fly an airplane?

I didn't say that scholarship funds were donated to students by Ed personally. I said that he makes sure there is money donated for that purpose -- and he does.

I am not his boy, I do not smoke dope and I do not fly an airplane. I'm also not a moron. I never claimed that Ed Hall was a wonderful example of a sub teacher, nor would I condone anyone treating students with disregard or disrespect.

For those of you that simply don't possess the brain cells required to understand my post ("fry ed" in particular), I will make it simple... I am amazed at the vile and hateful comments I see on here. Mr. Hall is an old man and he has his own hate topic. I think it's sad to read such negativity and hate directed at one person just because the opinion is he sucked as a sub teacher.

read what old man hall posted on the other board about almost running over a child, and then about the childs dad.....this is why most everyone that commes into contact with this old fool hates him. its a shame he did not serve on the Indianapolis when he was in the navy....
