Should Graceland Party Store be leveled

Tear that piece of crap down. Party store that sells alcohol and druggie crap right in front of police station, library and parks. 90% of his sales are alcohol and ciggs. Way to go people.. Send us into the grave quicker right in front of our children while they play in the park..Yip Hip Horray!!

Pfffffffft, White Lake...people, its a township, not a city. Why do we need any other stores built? You can get anything you need without driving to Waterford or elsewhere. I think we have enough. Stop building! Stop demolishing! Try IMPROVING!!! In every aspect imaginable. Quit throwing your trash out the car window. Its what back seats are for. Stop driving like a moron. Thats what the WLPD is for. Try improving yourself as a human being and don't worry about what the Jones' are doing or what the have. Money IS the root of all evil. We need more party stores. I would like to have one on every corner. We also need more empty store fronts. That look is so hot right now. Waterford, Flint and Pontaic look is so in right now.

Build a Super Party Store like the super Wallmart in Hartland.

Love this place. We need more like it in white Lake. I want my kids to have the same opportunties as me. That is to buy beer and cigs on every corner. Obama says we need change. I say we need more,more,more,more....

I love that this building has more curb appeal then our police and city official buildings. How about a facelift to our public offices..city,police and fire.........I think we pay enough in taxes.

I have never shopped there, but now will make sure I go and buy something every time I pass it.

I love graceland because their high liquor prices indirectly helped me quit drinking =) also that have the best gyros any where and its not a kid coralle fellas pornogrophy is legal and its a beautiful thing i also would do little dave

the store is a fine place with fine owners = Dave and his son do a great job. The store looks better then many - start with being repectful yourself - this is a free market, if what the stor was doing is not right for our town then by the laws of free market it woudl fail and it is not it is a long standing enterprise offering what the town desires - by the way, the owners are Christian - the money stays in MI and he is a charitable guy. Look for real ways to help the community without hurting others.

Odd how the most vocal critics WHO want this store removed live in Milford or Waterford. If you don't live here, then you really should refrain from voting on it. The place isn't bad, the owner is a nice guy who makes pizza and sandwiches for my family all the time, and the other stuff doesn't matter. Dave has tried for years to help the community as best he can. sure he has made some people upset. but most of the people who he has upset are people who have abused his kind heart.

i have personally (and yes i said personally ) know Dave from day one when he took ownership of the story from the sweet lady Mary who had it before him .some 18 plus years ago as well as many white lake family's have. there been times when the power gone out in the area. even his store was without power but he keep it open . he has help some in these times with goods on credit (if he know you that is ) if you happen to be without cash and the credit card machines went down to . try that at Kroger's ,meijers or Kmart . and these are local white lake shops.
even the gas station would tell you sorry cash or nothing.
so leave the guy alone and take your hated elsewhere.

The ones that choose to defend this store are white trash. . Start with tearing down something that represents the reason we have so many drunks in White Lake. Stop getting pregnant at 16 and finish high school. White Lake stand for one thing WHITE TRASH...

I live in White Lake and concur that these type of establishments are a menace to our society. Alcohol kills!!!Cigarettes Kill!!!We have more party stores in Michigan than we do library's. Does that mean anything? Probably not because you use the alcohol to numb the pain and complain about our economy and the big 3. F the big 3. It's michigan's fault that relied heavy on one industry. We deserved what we inherited by being selfish and blind. Go buy those boats, pontoons, 2010 gas eating trucks, snow mobile, dirt bikes and havent have a dime in your savings.. Enjoy people.
