I don't blame you,Dalson. I blame the system. I blame all the haters that turn to the gay community,for example,and blame them for destroying the santity of marriage when they want to marry each other just like everyone else when in fact it's the 54% divorce rate that's destroying the santity of marriage. Why do I bring this up? What has this to do with your situation? Dalson,man. Did you have a good upbringing?
There are always exceptions to general sayings but it's a straight fact that most of the gang stay with the gang for it's the only REAL family they got.
If we work out our marriages and be PARENTS, gangs would simply just go away.

i totally agree with large fillipino, but the truth is it will take more than that to solve gang violence. The truth is gangs not only provide the limted prtection members seek, but it provides a lifestyle that many members are anxious to fight for, even at the cost of their lives, innocent people, people they love, or anyone else standing between them and their dreams. The unfortunate truth is they start recruiting young, and before they have time to recgnize that it would be easier, safer, and more likely to reach those goals with an education, they have already been introduced to gang life. i think the best way to stop gang violence is to provide a more appealing way out.

And sadly,that more appealing way out I think is get an edjucation and a well paying job and get married BEFORE popping kids.
It's hard for most,but not entirely impossible.

U knew what went down when u started and u knew what was gonna happen so y act concerned now? Because the gun was at u n u werent holding it? Every step is a step u take by ur choice and noone elses. I assume u all know what the summer of 93 was like, so what would make u think it is just gonna stop. U need to realize that was ur fucked up choice and now ur family has to pay one way or the other, may it b thru losin u or another family member on accident. U should have thought about ur actions before consequnces were at ur door sweetie.

yea i been in a gang of r about 5year too and its hard for me cuz im a gurl and when u see me i dont look like im in one but when the time came to show my color i bring all out and shit its the one thing i can call my family that know me inside and out. but yea im only 17 years old and when i got in it i was only about 13 years old i knwe what i was doing and still do. dont let anythin kill you.

sorry about your loss homie but you shoulda thought about your family.When I started bangin I was very young just like you, im also 19 but I would never let my choices harm my family thats why I moved out. I understand why u chose to b a G ur homies will have ur back but theyre not always gonna b there 4 you. if you got family and ur in a gang, family is always 1st cKause ur family will always b there when you need them and they wont get you shot up.
