Local Legion Riders fuse patriotism, love of open road

Full story: PittsburghLIVE.com

Gina Delfavero can be reached via e-mail or at 724-459-6100. Spring's transition to the warmer weather of summer is marked by both the thoughtful pause of Memorial Day and the call of the open road.

You obviously don't know any real Legion Riders or you would know that yes they like to have a good time but they also do a lot of good. We have had several poker runs benefiting a local no kill animal shelter and several events benefiting wounded veterans.

You obviously don't know any "Real" Legion Riders or you would know that although they enjoy a good time they also do good. We have had several poker runs benefiting a local no kill animal shelter along with events benefiting wounded veterans and a dinner honoring Gold Star Mothers. Don't judge a group by one member.

Kat.....why post when you have no idea what you are talking about? Most of the members have served. If they havent, they are riding in honor of someone that has served. At least they are doing more for the veterans and their country than you are with your disparaging remarks.

You have no idea what those "bunch of drunks" do for Veterans or you wouldn't say that. Get a life. You sound like a disgruntled probably drunken customer of the Legion.

It is so easy to use a fake name and not to mention not even your last name to hide and take shots at an organization that does good, because you don't like a person in that organization "Kat". If you have a problem with Barry see him in person don't hide and take shots. Scaredy Kat

OK maybe you do all that BUT YOU DRIVE LIKE IDIOTS! Roads are not designed to handle three bikes wide so you patriots wind up driving in the middle of the road. How is that patriotic?

I can only speak for my organization, we only ride in a staggered formation. So "A True Patriot" come ride with us at the Wounded Warriors ride in Blairsville, PA (Saturday, May 30th) and see what we are all about.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Cancer

The next four weeks will place a delightful emphasis on your relationships. A wonderful encounter with someone special is in the wind, and there's even a chance you could embark on a new partnership. This is a time for teamwork rather than going it alone, even if it's only a temporary measure.
