I don't even remember why I moved here but I live in Bertrand now. I have been back several years ago and it was completely different, all Mexicans. I'm sure we would know each other, not a very big town, the only person I stay in touch with is M. Mccurdy and he doesnt even live there anymore.

Well I am glad to know that you are around. Your name sounds very familiar but like I said I was in the sixth grade when we moved here. Was you at Schuyler at that time?
|
|
Tony Long

Yes I west there until my sophmore year when we moved here. I think I might have some old yearbooks at home if I can find them. Your name is very familiar, did you have real long hair then?

Do you have myspace or anything? Mine should be in Bertrand.

No I don't have a myspace or anything like that sorry but I did have long hair back then I didn't get it cut short until we moved here because it was so much hotter here. Do you know if they plan on having a reunion next year?

I still keep thinking that we might have used to walk to school together, there were several of us that walked but the only girls I remember for sure were Jenne Kaven and I think it was Holly Sindelar

Its really cool to hear from somebody from the "old country", kinda wierd that two people can end up living so close after all the years. Small world. I have been working in Bloomfield for 3 years now. I dont want to give my e-mail on this but would like to swap pictures somehow to see if the face is familiar.

That would be great we need to figure out how though.

My wife found an old yearbook of mine and we were in the same class in fourth grade.

Maybe we could get the families together somewhere like maybe half way between each other so we could meet. My husband and kids would love that.

I rarely ever go to Schuyler anymore (I'm class of 90' BTW). The whole town is nothing but Mexicans (Hispanics). Almost all of the business are Hispanic as well. Hell, the only decent place in Schuyler to hang out is at Bootleggers. That would be the old Coufals bar. That's where you'll find most of the remaining legacy residents. Hell, I wouldn't really call it a bar, it's more like a cafe. They still have the best tacos at Bootleggers, just like Gene Coufal made, nothing has changed. In fact, the last 6 or 7 times I went to Schuyler, my only reason for going was to stop at Bootleggers for a taco a burrito and a couple bottles of Bud light.
