Alabama House Votes to Place Stiffer Restrictions on Teen Drivers

The Alabama House has passed a bill that would require 16-year-old and some 17-year-old drivers to be off the road by 10 p.m. on week nights and 11 p.m. on weekends.

I agree with the restrictions on teen drivers, however I would also like to see elderly drivers retested yearly after maybe age 65. The number of accidents caused by elderly drivers is on the rise. Clearly, they should be under similar restrictions.
