Unemployment was a problem for Carter too.
The difference is Carter seemed to know how to run things and Obama does not. Both were and are out of touch will everyday Americans though.

I'm seeing a *lot* of similarities in the last days opf the Carter era and now, as far as political events, which might be interesting to discuss if the trend continues.

You said you had JOBS. One was playing THE LUNATIC END OF THE WORLD CRAZED GUY IN THE FLASHER TRENCH COAT on the car commercial. Was the other supplying clothes to test the effectiveness of laundry detergent to remove filth and stains? Did you work for TIDE?

That was great fun doing the Nissan commercial, yes.

When time permits I'll find and post that link here again, for those who haven't seen it... Nissan sold 30 cars that month on the strength of that television commercial, I've been told.

The previous months they sold between 150 and 200. The ad brought it down to less than thirty. The crusty filthy image of that lunatic in the flasher trench coat crawling inside a new car grasping the steering wheel was repulsive. They quickly took the loss and pulled the ad before things tanked completely.

I phrased that wrong, not being in the car business.

Sales surged in the days after my television commercial aired... in addition to the usual 200 or so cars sold each month, there were 30 *additional* Nissan automobiles sold that month.

If you're still online this morning, I wonder what your opinion might be on Third Party candidate Gary Johnson?

The prospects are grim these days for high school grads who look for work after graduation rather than going to college, according to a recent study by the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University.

Only three in 10 of these recent grads are employed full time, according to the study, which tracked the employment outcomes of 544 young people who graduated from high schools across the country between 2006 and 2011.

The Great Recession has had an impact on everyone, but for young people without a college degree, the employment picture is crippling.

I'm well aware of what a liar you are, and so the fact that you "just made up" the figure.

Unlike you, I was going on what I remembered about the surge in sales, I admitted I'm not an expert on figures from a car company, Nissan or any other... I should be able to find the correct quote of the statement that was made about the surge in sales after my Nissan commercial aired.

Meanwhile, here's the television ad, for those who haven't seen it:

Ah, here you go my lying, obsessed friend, here's one of the quotes that tells of the surge in sales in the month after the commerial I was in aired, which you can feel free to whine and complain about for another week or two:

"This was a TV commercial we did for Larry Rich Nissan in Lagrange Georgia. The exposure from this commercial and others to follow allowed Larry Rich to enjoy a 350% increase in the month of March!"

The sale of three additional cars is a 350% increase. You had nothing to do with it at all.

The owner of LaGrange Toyota has bought Larry Rich Nissan, expanding LaGrange Toyota owner Michael Stogner’s business to three locations and two franchises.

“It’s a great franchise and a quality car,” Stogner said.“Nissan has five new cars coming out in the next 15 months.”

Larry Rich Nissan now is known as Stogner Nissan.

The Stogner family has been in the car business since 1978 and Michael Stogner opened the current LaGrange Toyota on Lafayette Parkway in 2007. He said expanding his business allows his 60 employees to be promoted, since managers will be needed at all three of his locations: Toyotas at his main dealership at Lafayette Parkway, used cars on Hogansville Road and now Nissans at Mooty Bridge Road at New Franklin Road.

Unemployment has taken its toll on hard working people in America, instaed of wrongly embracing communist steps and principles because of the lack of work, Americans choose to support business and the prosparity of all. America is a great land and I am proud to call home

A discussion about unemployment
So, what's your opinion on the matter?

In my opinion, it seems that the time may have come for yet more changes. I'm thinking the time has come to begin helping to build a valid Third Party in the U.S.

Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party, so far has some pretty good points. Seems to me that at the least Gary Johnson is an alternative to the less than thrilling Obama/Romney situation.

http://youtu.be/2X3QRSIXgns

"...Two-term Governor, Gary Johnson, says both parties are indistinguishable from one another. Both are keeping America broke. Both are keeping America at war. Both have trampled on the Constitution. And both are stooges to the same big money players that never change behind the scenes. It's time to put our differences and our parties aside and come together as a nation for the good of all. We The People are ready to LIVE FREE." -Gary Johnson 2012

So, since we have such different perspectives of this Presidential race, my anonymous friend, my question for you is what's your take on Gary Johnson?

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
