Am I reading this correctly. The rest of the US think we all live in mobile homes down here. What kind of message is it sending to the business community. Move your company here. Columbus will provide unused mobile classrooms to you for a small fee. And by the way make sure you stack them straight so they will not fall over. This resume to the world is certainly the way to go. Maybe we can get China to move some manufacturing over here to class up the place.

Library park gets graded

By a surprising 7-2 vote, the Muscogee school board Monday night made an abrupt U-turn in its plans for a new administration building off Macon Road.
It decided not to build a controversial $30 million school district headquarters on land adjacent to the Columbus Public Library, and instead voted to move 37 portable classrooms there from local schools and use them as administrative offices.

That can't be true.
Not this shady School board no way they would do that. They want their Mansion so bad it is insane. What a waste of awesome development land. It is in the center of the City, with an Interstate and a Highway intersection. It would make an awesome Civic Center, Ice Rink, Stadium, Ball Park, Skatepark etc.... Not retail since the hood is real close. Instead let's put a school admin building Oh Not a School but just an admin building Yeah and the south is not inbred dummies. |
