Hello Flower-Child, glad you enjoyed the art documentary, looks like I'll be doing a couple of those every month for one of the local Cable-TV stations... that was Ralph Frank, definitely an inspiration and local Shadowville Icon:

I googled the word "Shadowville" and checked out their site and they do own the word "Shadowville", it is there trademark and prtected legally. I am really enjoying the research.
It would be such irony if they told you to "cease and desist" using their trademark for your music wouldn't it?
Of course someone would have to tell them.

I had a look also and it turns out that "Shadowville" is not listed as a Registered Trademark.

I'm not saying anyone is "lying", but there doesn't seem to be a Registered Trademark for "Shadowville"... I have Shadowville as a /place/ in many of my copyrighted poems, stories and songs, but I have no problem with other artists using the fictional universe if they wish.
