Why do thses inmates have access to the Internet?
I'll tell you how to stop this BS shut down all internet acess the people are in JAIL not a tax payers hotel for the lazy that would rather kill or steel than work to pay their way through life it is more inportant that crimmanls have something to do all day let them do needl point that will keep their hands busy
Bring back chain gangs. Put them on the roads working from sunup to sundown. That will stop this crap quick. |
SC hustlers makin' moves.

Where does it say prisoners were using the internet? The story states they receive information from a Citibank employee and in turn sell that information.
I know our legal system is not allowing inmates access to the internet, right?
Citibank-you need to find the employee who is doing this-this is riducoulous--I hope you do not get business because of this. And for the inmates they should not have access to a computer anyway-need to be in jail getting counseling and playing sports and that is it-you do not deserve access to the outside world
It sounds like the inmates have to much freedm to interact with the outside community. I think that phone call from inmates should be limited and monitored and also their mail should be looked at closely. Why isn't Citi Bank disclosing any information. It sounds like they are OK with what is happening. They are suppose to be a secured business with credit information. Maybe they need to start doing some back round check on their personel and not just hire a warm body off the street to handle credit information.

Once again the "GREAT OZ" blames another one of his agencies screw up's on the Legislators for "under funding" Scdc and (does so every chance he get's). That may be true to a certain extent but, obviously Ozmint has forgotten his original statement from when he was put in charge over Corrections by our illustreous Gubernator. He said something to the effect that Scdc didn't have a funding problem, Scdc had a culture problem! My how things have changed for the brilliant tactician and Visionary named Ozmint! Maybe instead of new cars for him and all his cronnies including those important people whom drive their cars home that work in food service (of all places), and building nice partying shed's on his state supplied residence, he should have used the money for legitimate Scdc needs such as more correctional officers! Again, where's the L.A.C? Come on people, politics or ethics the choise is yours! You either know about the problem and try to fix or you know about it and do nothing, at which point, you become a part of that very problem!
That is the question I have also! Plus NO supervision while they are using the computers. Why even have computers in prison? Prison is not a freakin HOTEL!!!! |
Can't do anything about it.......my AZZ!!!
If you are a prisoner, you shouldn't have access to a TV, computer and any other outside contacts. YOU ARE IN PRISON!!!! YOU DON'T GET ANY "privileges"-- YOU sleep & eat........that's ALL you should be able to do!! Prisoners get more than some people on the streets.....What is wrong w/our systems???!!!??? |
EVERYONE IS ANGRY AT THE PRISONERS,BUT THIS IS WHAT THEY DO. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE IN PRISON. I WANT TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE CITIBANK EMPLOYEES SO THEY CAN JOIN THEIR PRISON BUDDIES.
Lets take the raises the Legislators just gave themselves and hire more correction officers!
that is crazy
This story is crazy. Those people at the credit card company need to be fined and fired!
If someone does something to be put in prison, they are supposed to be stripped of any and all rights. Prisoners should NOT be allowed internet access and a lot of other luxuries they have. There are a lot of hard working honest people that do not have luxuries prisoners do.
They are going to be talking about the cell phones soon. Inmates have cell phones. The Officers sell them for $300. People on the outside are the ones behind all of this.
There is no reference in this story about the internet. Prisoners do not have access to the internet-not even those going to "school". Guards have access to internet as well as other outside privileges. Perhaps this is why Ozmint has no comment. Check the employees. They do other things for a price-why not this?
