There is a Forest Acres. Forest Acres, SC 29206 will work.

As for taxes, they're actually lower than Columbia.

And what if you need a cop? Try this in Pelion: Call Jimmy Metts, call for a pizza and a plumber at the same time. The plumber will be there in time to help you eat the pizza, but the pizza box will be yesterday's trash by the time Jimmy's boys get there.

Now try that in Forest Acres. Forest Acres cops will have come and gone before the pizza guy gets there, but you still have to share with the plumber. From my 12 years of experience, Forest Acres Police response time is usually 5 minutes or less. You can't get that anywhere else that I know.
