My step-kid is stable for the moment, but improvement is excrutiatingly slow... still, better than none! We still do not have a diagnosis, hopefully soon, although as long as she is improving at all instead of getting worse, we are feeling positive.

And as far as this case - it is just unbeleivebly sad and tragic. if the girl is found alive (haven't checked the news) I hope they never let her near that piece of scum-mother. I'm sorry; i know it's not my job to judge but how sick can a human being get? God bless that little girl (and her family....)

I think he let her see the child so the child could get to know her mother. Sounds like he and the child's aunt that was raising her were trying to do the right thing. How could they think the egg donor would do such a thing? Just truly horrible and evil.
