High-end grocer joining market

I AM SO EXCITED! I have missed Harris Teeter since I moved here. It is a CLEAN grocery store! For those who are not excited, you can continue to enjoy Shoppers Warehouse, we won't mind.

All we really need in Baltimore is Giant Eagle (not to be confused with Giant).

PS, they give 10 cents off per gallon of gas (that's every gallon) for every $50 spent and you can accumulate them so you could save 20 cents, 30 cents, or more) Even better, you don'thave to be spend the $50 in the same visit - they carry over to your next visit.

Ok, ya'll want a high-end grocer? Be prepared for it to turn ghetto as well. They will probably accept Independance Cards and we all know what that means. If they don't accept Independance Cards, they'll be sued. Either way, it will be ghetto.

Harris Teeter is much needed in Columbia as well as Wegmans. Harris Teeter has triple coupons on some weekends and have great sales. There prices are the same or better than Giant and Safeway and there service and food quality far exceed both of these stores. It will force Safeway and Giant to step up there game or lose.

Harris Teeter's prices are comparable to other chain grocery stores. They have a much wider selection and some of the gourmet stuff costs a lot. Just don't buy those items if you don't want them. I used to shop at the Harris Teeter in Fairfax and have been to the Virginia Beach location, too. If you shop there all the time, it doesn't cost any more than Giant or Safeway.

You'll only get that growing it yourself. In the meantime, it's the farmers market, Wegman's: Trader Joe's and Harris Teeter. You really do get what you pay for.

Harris Teeter prices resemble gouging- the store in Kings Contrivance in Columbia apparently thinks it can charge whatever it wants for items. Good luck if you're not buying on sale.
