either way you look at it, this is a felony 5-7 plants and noone was arrested for this what kind of town do we live in? its all about who you are and how much money you have and you will get away with anything here, the law needs to crack down on these people but we do live in good ole columbia.

There are drugs everywhere. You may not like it, but u better get used to it. I think we live in a pretty damn good place. In parts of California, u can grow up to 15 in your backyard, legally. I wish they would legalize it. We would get the tax money from it to be used in the county. What would u rather have..a couple of plants growing beside u, or your neighbor making meth beside ya. Not a hard decision for me. I will say that I am not a smoker, and don't care to be. I don't believe in drugs, but I would rather see the meth leave first.

I honestly don’t believe the person who posted above dislikes the town or should be told to “move”. More than likely they only dislike the politics involved in crimes committed. It really shouldn’t matter if a criminal is rich or poor. But we all realize it does have a huge impact on how the “system” handles such situations. I wish no ill will on anyone, I just wish that the “all men created equal” evolves into all men TREATED equal. jmo

stop and think,5-7 weeds that may or may not have produced something to smoke which would have not harmed our community or even the one smoking it.Is this any reason to put an american citizen behind bars?tobacco kills millions, alcahol kills millions, prescribed drugs kill millions and on and on and on,but the gov receives taxes so its ok.mr coomer pays thousands and thousands of dollars each year toward taxes and also helps nearly anyone in need who askes him,he supplies dozens of adair countians with jobs and as far as we know has never been accused of ever selling drugs and may not even have planted what was found growing on his property.just sayin.

Well Black we can see from your earlier post that you must know the Coomer's since you know the road before their house, but actually don't know their road. HMMM It seems that you don't have any of your facts right. Before you get on here maybe you should think before you type, people are saying that everyone should be treated equally. It should not make any difference if you have money or can give a few people jobs, not dozens. The law is the law. They were not made for just a few. We might not like the laws, but they are made for everyone and that means everyone.

do you really beleive they go up to the court house and write them a check to get out of trouble?then why would they even show up with all that law enforcement on his farm, why not just send him an invoice in the mail or maybe add it to his property tax each year.the idea of paying off the law is so you can grow and sale dope not have it taken.

Sorry to disappoint you Black but I am a law abiding citizen that does wear their seat belt, never broken any law that I know of, oh maybe speeding sorry. Lets just wait and see if everything will happen equally for the people that got busted on Harvey's ridge last week. And if nothing happens at all, we all just spent alot of our tax dollar for nothing.
