The democraps in congress are at it again. They are proposing a new tax hike on gasoline. This is from the party who promised they would "fix" our gas problems when taking seat as the majority. At that time the price of gas was $2.11. So, what have they done? Nadda! They stood in the way of one proposal after another to drill. A total of 72% of American favor drilling here and after signing petitions, writing letters and making calls our voices were finally heard. When President Bush used his executive order to drill the price of oil went down immediately by $10/barrel. It has gone down an additional $5.00 per barrel since then. Do we hear about that? Only if you listen to FOX or Rush. Democraps and the left media don't want you to know that this IS working and can only get better. What they plan to do is stick in another tax hike and when the price at the pump goes back up they will say "See? Bush's plan didn't work". Our democratic majority congress is so out of control I don't know how anyone can't see it!

You two must be kidding right? Hoss and Peabody!! Perhaps thats why the Forbes 400, those on the list from being OIL RICH, are all republican.. counting more than 50, as does our current head Bush and his side kick Chaney. Think now, CEO's influence legislation. Then Bush against Dem house. Bush has made this war on oil hike, got rich doing it. The chance for it to turn around at this point is very slim, compared to other country's for years america has gotten a great deal in retail for gas. Given that Bush also has blown the spending in this country out the window and has broke america, like his brother Jed in Florida. Florida used to be a very rich state, most likely the richest in america, oh Jed came in and broke the sunshine state. Yet even if dem took front set in both as president and house, not much would change in contrast with th oil industry at this point, damage has already been done. My advice to you is this, got a good paying job? If not better think more on the ecnomical and energy jobs. Someone going to have to work on the hybrids, all construction firms have to go leap, flooring, and eco friendly producing factory's in which indivduals will be making a great deal of money with in five years time. Americans didn't wake up for in the change of oil prices because most who do drive cars, didn't pay attention, until a car that used to take 30 dollars worth of gas, now takes 65 dollars. Try driving an SUV, you will see a huge difference, but the car owners had to wait before they bitched. Bottom line is this we are in a change on how things are going to be reproduced, doesn't matter who's in the white house.

You and yours sound like a broken record using the same terms as "oil man"...Fact is, you'll never see the light as long as you have your head up your ass. Blame Bush for everything each day of his term regardless of what he walked into, the majority of idiots he has to work with, and the lies that continue to unfold. Republicans do well because we work, we invest, we have goals and self respect...values. Democrats are always trying to create another program that pays chump change for doing nothing. Can't get far on chump change. Generation after generation of people on programs. How long before you realize that welfare don't work? Blame the Bush's and every other wealthy person for your miserable life and what exactly did they do? They worked hard and invested well. And I won't have to work in the field of energy I own my own business that is at the root of all businesses. Without my trade absolutely nothing in this world would function. Let Gore talk you out of every penny you have in the name of guilt for a cause that don't hold water. Let the dems and Sierra club members continue to enslave us for the sake of a seven-toed centipede. Republicans/conservatives produce results. Dems/liberal have good intentions that produce negative results. Quit blaming Bush/Republicans for a society that liberals have created and gone sour. Gas has dropped 20cents/gallon since Bush cowboy-ed up with his executive order to drill. Why isn't he given credit for that? Congress is still dragging their feet on their vote so think again....who is to blame? Democrats want to cripple Americans so we are dependent on government. That ain't good folks. Geez, it's like talking to a brick wall.

From what I’ve read on this thread is that we need, all of us, to to look beyond our collective noses and relate with success. I am never far from the point of poisonous amazement of how we, as Americans, can argue with success, unless, of course it is our own successes. A small country in the Americas (did you know that the world uses the plural) has managed to become energy independent? They did it within three years! It was reported in the Washington Post Foreign Service, August 20, 2006 (for those sadly misinformed… that was almost two years ago) that this small country made itself off hands from OPEC. Don’t anyone DARE comment on this post until they can figure out which country of which I speak…. Or find my grammatical errors. Be assured that my grammar will be attacked before the concept. Okay, it is Brazil. Rio’s beaches… nevermind.

You're very jaded AND/OR maybe a bit embarrassed you voted the idiot into office that you have to cover it by defending him??? I wouldn't even admit such a thing... "Just 25 percent of Americans approve of the overall job Mr. Bush is doing as President, an all-time low for him and among the lowest approval ratings ever recorded for a President. Sixty-seven percent disapprove of the job Bush is doing - the highest such figure in CBS News polls since he assumed office. Only Presidents Nixon (24 percent) and Truman (22 percent) have seen polls showing job approval ratings lower than 25 percent during their presidencies, according to Gallup Polls. President Carter’s all-time low was 26 percent." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/06/04/opi... Hoss, do you think these polls are only made up of Democrats??? IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!!!!!!!! McCain isn't going to cut it people!

We are not "embarrassed we voted the idiot into office" because we know that no matter how bad these liberal idiots think Bush is we KNOW Gore and Kerry are both pieces of shit that are FAR worse than Bush could ever be. I voted for Bush twice and I an damn proud to say I did. We as Americans had no other choice. It is the same with Obama and McCain. McCain is an idiot but Obama is FAR worse. No real American could vote for Obama.

This is an excellent example of blanket statements you make that only degrade YOU! I have family and friends who have served and recently served. One friend who will be disabled for the rest of his life. I know soldiers who think the way I do about Bush and this war~~~A war based on lies by the by...It's not about being patriotic as much as it is about deceiving Americans into something so unnecessary. People have lost their lives and will never live the same because of this war.......It certainly isn't helping our economy to be spending billions over there while things are being cut here at home. Again, over a war based on lies to suit the ego of this president...I understand you look like an ass for voting such an idiot into office that you now have to scrape for reasons to defend....You feel you have to treat and talk to people like your ready to beat them up because they don't agree with you in order to again defend your decisions because they aren't popular ones. I'm just pointing out that maybe your blanket statements aren't helping your cause. Partially because maybe, just maybe you don't KNOW EVERYTHING! You come off as an angry conservative psycho! Don't be so angry at people, including Republicans, who are tired of what Bush has done to this country and now want change. McCain isn't going to be much of a change in my opinion. I AM entitled to my opinion ya know....My freedom comes about from my family and friends who have served this country I so love. Family and friends who served under presidents they so trusted to have every Americans well being in mind. To bad we've all been so deceived!

First off I would just guess you never served your coutry in the military you never saw a battle you never saw a bomb drop and blow up one of your friends, otherwise you could not kiss the ass of our commander in chief like you continue to do. You could not defend this draftdodger if you had ever served. I am an Obama supporter who has served, seen a battle seen a bomb drop and kill friends. Jack ass even after daddy buying him into the guard would not serrve and went awol and did not finish out his term and he has no right being commander in chief of the militariy ought to have been shotalong with most of his defenders.
