If neither of these is true then why don't you leave. We are very proud of our small town and live here happily kicking the butts of the larger towns when it comes to band competition, and academics. You did see the standings of our academic team didn't you and that must what riled you up so much. We live here by choice. If Adair county is not your choice then why don't you leave its is still a free country

Let's face it ...Adair County has come along way....and it's the people here who make a difference & have shown over & over what we can do as a community...especially...if its for our children and young people. They have proven over & over they are most worthy to support.
In times of need we learn to appreciate all their prayers & kindness that are extended to us.
Many, seem to always want to blame someone when something happens to them...our hospital, our nursing home, schools, jail, our law enforcement,
our town & on & on. As for me...when something happens I try to appreciate all that they try to do. I try to respect their positions because NONE are easy. Treat ALL people like you yourself would like to be treated. You show respect & it's a sure thing they also will respect you.
In alot of ways we are a poor community & lacking jobs but rich in alot of other ways that is priceless.
You know...if...I thought this town was soooo bad
I would move. People here actually care about other people & have proven we can make a difference 1 vote at a time...That all things are possible.

i do c some of ur points, but just because u got out of high school or adair co ur self, and r now maybe seeing the world for the first time past campbellsville. u can c that there is places with some things to do and what u want b judged so much are people want thing they are so much better then u. or there is more then two or three familys the own things. columbia is what it is. always has and always will b this way owned and run by a small hand full of people. they run every thing cops, judges, county goverment, and any land deals. so u can deal with it or move. ur choice! lol! welcome to the grown up world. keep ur dreams high and some day u may get out of the state and if u get lucky u may c another country some day!!! u poor poor thing. there is so much more u can see! lol!

I have to agree that the "Law" in Columbia sucks!! We need real cops in there!
