What a terrible mistake that would be, all based upon a gross misinterpretation of her heart.

There is not one nurse in that ER that would perform less than their best care and attention on any patient under their watch. Kathy is an excellent nurse and a caring person who would not allow such suggested pettiness. Vindication is NOT a part of her character.
What I understood from her comment was that allowing the 3.7% tax to be voted on by the public would delay the receipt of revenue which is desperately needed now to keep the hospital open and available. Delaying the tax revenues for two years would mean certain death of the hospital in very short order, thereby rendering our community void of emergency healthcare. I believe her comment was an attempt at alerting everyone of what signing the petition really would mean to the future of our hospital and community and NOT a threat of vindication at all.
'I do believe she mentioned putting a list of names on the ER door so yea she is vendictive and sounded like a thereat to me futher more why don't they stop being mad at people who lost trust in the board and start being pissed at the ones who caused the need for a tax "ON A Shortfall" A sale is no longer on table better yet yell at ANN for not keeping track of what her board was doing. Yea i agree we did have needs at the hospital and probably a tax a long time ago but honestly its a good thing we didn't because they couldn't even keep up with the money they had just imagine not knowing where all your money went. People don't have a problem paying a tax for a service but not for a debt only to see the service still gone in the end and with the same people and same government controll what good would the tax have done if the people had not started a petition. At least they have cut some cost and have some brains down there now because they were forced to think outside of a damn tax.

Uh. I really think your missing the point. Let me try simpler. THE 3.7CENT TAX WON'T COVER THE INTEREST! THE BANKS ARE GOING TO NEED THE MINIMUM PAYMENT. THAT'S MORE THAN THE TAX. So you see if we get this tax, it will go up. It has too. They will take the county to court. You can't just say oh it's a tax thingy that we will pay. It has to eventually pay the debt. In 200 years a 3.7 cent property tax with interest won't. It will go up, they will make it. Sweet Jesus think.
Does capital lettering mean you are screaming? And yes Jesus is sweet. But u r dumb. Blah, blah, blah....I still vote for the 3.7 cent tax mr. Think your a math whiz.

I believe you will get all the tax paying you want, and then some before this is over, I think some of you think 3.7 isn't going to amount to much in tax for you, but if it is 3.7 per one hundred dollars, my figures say that is $370 dollars for every $100,000 your property is assessed for, meaning add $37.00 to every thousand your tax bill ask's for. some keep saying it want amount to much, but $37.00 a thousand is a big jump to most, I would like to believe it is less, but I don't, because when they say anything about it they say a hundred.

If you don't understand the tax, and obviously you are having a little problem here, why in the world would you sign the petition? Whatever the number ends up being, we WILL pay it. Unless of course the hospital fairy godmother decides to pay off our debt. Not many people will offer to pay more than is asked of them-I mean, what if the hospital starts making money and can pay some of it ourselves? So my point is, why not take the 3.7 cents per 100$ tax, and shut your big stupid mouth, rather than get s much bigger one forced on you?? Can't understand stupid, and sure can't fix it!

Funny sounds like some people are wanting to vote now but yet they are mad at the people trying to allow that to happen

Hospital Tax Recall certified by Clerk Sheila Blair: 780 names

Challenge would have to be filed in 10 days, or by September 20, 2012
----------

By Ed Waggener

Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Blair completed the check of the Hospital Tax Recall Petition and found that organizers had 25 names to spare and is certifying its success. She will be reporting the results at the September 11, 2012 meeting of Adair Fiscal Court.

The petition needed 755 names to put the matter on the November 2014 ballot. The clerk certified 780 as valid.

At 4pmCT, Clerk Blair had completed a second validation, which reduced the total margin by 11 names. "I threw out the obvious ones where a spouse had signed his/her wife or husband's name in the same handwriting," she said.

Clerk Blair said that any challenge to the count has to be filed no later than 10 days from the certification, or 10 days from today, or by 4pmCT, Friday, September 20, 2012.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Cancer

The question of who and what you should believe is never far away today. Someone could easily mislead you, although it's a moot point whether they do this intentionally or not. Or there could be a communication glitch that means no one knows what's going on. Be very careful when handling money because there could be lots of silly mistakes, and if you're really unlucky there might also be some double-dealing too.
