I moved down here from Louisville about 5 years ago. When I left I was paying $38 min bill (twice what it is here), also a meter cost you $3300 verses $600 here. What are you people complaining about, you are blesses and don't even know it. Also you don't appreaciate what your water company it doing by continuing to improve their system.
and you are a sick suker. you don't compare louville with the burg. here the only people with jobs work for big ann and boss hog.

all I can say is that you must have a hind tit. the water company hasn't done anything for me. ding dong bell got some water up there or does he still own the property. I have a water meter because someone else paid for it.
still I don,t like to see the bill go up because there are a lot of people who have a hard time paying it. so, until the present administration is changed I will continue to say it is a ripoffput on you and the rest of the people in the county pay for it. I don't care for my money going to sparksville but I do mind it going to jones and wright.

Just wondering why in these hard times that our water bills are raised at the rate, and they say we need money to complete projects here in town, when the city and county combined they said county people would not pay for the city work?????? Seems like the almost 250,000.00 they paid for the lot at Wallmart even if it was a grant was a big --- waste. Most people do as they have money and try to survive, is it asking to much of our county to do something for us once in a while, let them do with what they have and leave us alone. SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU ALL TO CONSIDER??? Where does Larry Legg Live, Not in Adair, sure he has property her but lives in Campbellsville in the sommer and in Az in the winter. Who appoints the board. Citizens of Adair, like Earl Pitts say wake up Adair Co.
old leg has been here awhile. my understanding is he had a lot of money and squirell huddleston got them to come in and invest in adare. big house in the sticks down in the gradyville area. the only time I ever saw larry was him and hilder making out in the little law office in the alley. she served hin well and went on to be of great service to hal.
does any of the most case hardened republicans think that you would have ever seen anything like big ann and little lenny.
you can sue a banana peel so it wouldn't be much of a step down to sue big ann and lennie and the caud. you could save it on your water bill.

didn't they buy it from the holiday place comsortium, the bigdeal that is taking adair out of the dsrk ages. these are all pretty good things but the screwing you are getting is the caud(do they not have the weakest web site you have ever seen).
my louville buddy said when lt gov abramson needed to provide sewer and water to prp the city of louville let pleasure ridge park pay for it.
the question is why are the taxpayers in the county paying to reconstruct the water lines in the city that should have been repaired while they were deteriorating?
You should know what you are talking about, if its in the Holiday Place who the crap do you think they bought it from, why would you want your office away from all operations of the water employees, be hard to keep up with things 3-4 miles away and what does PRP and the ex mayor of Louisville have anything to do with Columbia.

people who use the service should pay for the service.
I would compare prp to columbia because they let the system deteriorate to the point it was unsafe.
ie, the ole who gave you the water and kept the gas. the mayor made them pay to join the union.
you might ask, where is the money comming from to give lennies boys a 100 hour bonus. how much will it cost?
in a poverty stricken area where every dollar counts this is crazy.

And then your gonna get him huh? How dare somebody be telling on you. It's hard to be super corrupt and secret if people kept putting it on the net huh?
Maybe If the people who ran things did their job well and honestly, there would be less anger over erring ratted out.

Guess the biggest blessing is that this ain't Louisville, we don't want to be like Louisville, most people make more in big L than here, so don't come here and tell us anything about how bless we are, we got your end

As Earl Pitts would say wake up adair co.

One day god willing we will elect good people. Until then we will have the same web of corruption. So and so gets re elected cause of doing favors for that one guy who hires the grand daughter of somebody he needs a favor from down the road. In the end we have career politicians, spend way too much money, put incompetent people in charge of things that are important (hospital), and nothing that wouldn't help them personally ever gets done. When it does help them they do it at twice the cost. One day by chance a group will get elected that's honest. I don't know what we would do, but they would do good things. Until then keep voting for our regulars! They might hire your Retarded cousin, if you can raise some votes or cash.

since you don't read the local prints maybe you could go to cuzin eddies net rag and he would have enlightened you about the 100 hour bonus that lennie is giving his boys. does that include the little grand daughter that just got the job.

as for the clc, I could never see why the people of adare should have to buy that damn place. you would have thought the big bappers would have given it to the county. they get a tax free 300,000 from the county and you get to pay for it. the answer to this kind of problem is to tax the churches.
why should you have to pay taxes when this kind of abuse is tolerated. I remember the big bappers all the way back to 1958 when the little women of the community was trying to raise money to give bro phillips a free vacation.
you all have a good day, I tired.
oh, did you see that bud is introducing bud lite platinum with a whopping 6% octane?

The way things are now I don't think the water co. or anyone else should be spending funds they do not have. It is common sense to slow down spending when times are tough! Do not slam citizens with more fees when they can barely pay them now. I believe the Adair Water Co. needs restructuring. From what I hear a few of them good ol boys are being paid way too much for the work we receive... Think about it people!! I know if you posted all those jobs and cut the pay by 30% there would still be plenty of qualified applicants. Nobody needs to be paid that kind of money for any work in a small municipality like this...
THey all make too much, one of the office people $25. per hour,!!!!!!!!! Does she even have a college degree? Bonuses are not supposed to be given with gov't money!! County road crew and state employees do not get a bonus Someone needs to go over the Click and get things straightened out!

How do you know what any of them make? Like to know where you get your intel from. What if she does have a college degree or if any of them do? Where does all of the information from these post come from. The only thing I seen published is Lenny Stone's salary. So you making up wages now or did someone who thinks they know everything spill the beans?

just remember when they stated this merger will be in the best interest
when it started you were told that gov grant money would take care of the problem, not so, no money.
this happened because the city fathers wanted their water lines replaced by the county taxpayers.
the cje and her court did not have to do this. when the city refused to give the county the gas it should have been stopped, and let the city worry about their problem. but$$$$$$$$$$
some of the more educated answer a few questions. is the caud controled by the psc. is the psc made of of politicaly appointed members. does ky have the number 5 worst managed state in the nation.
is ky the worst managed state in the nation because of ernie fletcher and the burkesville idiot?
go OBAMA.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aquarius

The emotional atmosphere is quite potent under this Lunar Eclipse, evoking a sense of crisis. The problems you've been experiencing with a certain person lately come to a head during the next fortnight, making you feel that you have to take drastic action or lay down the law. Yet this could make the situation worse than ever, especially if you act from a sense of panic or desperation. Take things gently and don't throw your weight around unless it's absolutely necessary.
