Does anyone know who the dog warden is and if he kills them as soon as he gets them or how does it work?

I don't know who he is, but if he kills pets right on the spot then he is the Charles Bronson of the Animal Control World.

He had best not be killing too many dogs. There are people in Adair County that would kill HIM over their dog.

Then the dog owner would be in jail and the animal wouldnt have a home anyway. If the dog is confined then they wouldn't have a worry now would they? There is a law against dogs running loose you know?A good dog owner wouldn't be letting their pet run loose in the first place.A week is plenty time for the owner to see if the dog is at the animal shelter. After paying a few times Im sure they will buy a kennell then and take better care of their dog!!Im a animal lover myself but I dont want mine getting run over or poisioned so he is confined to the house and when hes out hes on a leash. My outside dogs have a nice kennel and are let out to run only under supervision.

In my opinion, he is a worthless piece of garbage. He does not keep the dogs for seven days. The dog is lucky if it lives one day when he gets ahold of it.

I really don't care who he is, "dog warden" or whatever he had best leave my critters alone.

My dogs mean more to me that many human beings I know.

Then he should obey the law and keep his pet confined...The family didnt care much about their pet or they wouldnt let it run loose then.

Then you better keep him at home. Some people don't take kindly to dogs straying onto their property. My kid got bit on the face by a stray a few years ago. If a dog comes onto my place, and acts the least bit aggressive, I'm gonna gentle it with a bullet. If it is the neighbor's dog, or a beagle or some such, I usually don't mind(unless it craps in the driveway). But if one of those dogs that should be illegal to keep, like a Rottweiler, Doberman, Pit Bull, I'll call the dog warden once. If no response in 24 hours, the dog gets a dirt nap. Cruel? How else can I protect my kids? If there is a better alternative, please let me know. I like dogs, and don't want to hurt them, but if they appear to be a danger to my children....well.....what would you do.

It is cruel to keep a dog tied up. If you feel you have to keep an animal tied up them you should not even have a dog.

Question? If a persons finds a stray dog, does not report it (by law) allows the dog to remain on his or her property and maintains the dog by feeding it,playing with it and installs a collar for restraining it
WHAT IS THE LAW REGARDING HOLDING PERIOD OR THE POINT IN TIME THAT THE FINDER ASSUMES OWNERSHIP AND LIABILITY . In Indiana it is after the third day. What is it in Kentucky????
