Webb Police Make Arrest, Cite Another For Leaving The Scene Of An Accident

On Friday December 10, 2010 at approximately 10:30 PM, Webb Police were called to a motor vehicle accident involving one vehicle near the 6800 block of Hwy 52 East in Webb. Upon arrival to the scene, police took an initial report from one subject that claimed to be the driver of the vehicle. During the course of the accident investigation; it was later revealed that the subject was not the driver, but the driver's son. It was discovered that the driver was Morgan Hicks, a Webb Town Council member who left the scene for unknown reasons. Officers attempted to make contact with Councilman Hicks at his residence, but was told that he was unavailable by his wife. Chief Jerkins arrested Dustin Hicks of Webb and charged him with false reporting to law enforcement, and also cited Councilman Hicks for leaving the scene of an accident at a later time.

This was a dangerous and confusing situation with suspicious circumstances, and thankfully there were no reported injuries during the accident. There has been an increase in motor vehicle accidents in The Town of Webb over recent months, and Webb Police are making every possible effort to target excessive speeding and alcohol-related driving. The Webb Police Department is committed to making the roadways of Webb as safe as possible for our citizens and visitors, and will continue to aggressively pursue violators and offenders in The Town of Webb.

For the past two years the town of Webb has endured numerous heartaches, harrassement, embarrasment, and delayed progress. All these are a direct result of actions perputrated by the mayor, Vicky Hunter, the mayor's husband, Jerry Hunter, the mayor's son,Lance Hunter councilman Morgan Hicks, and his son, Dustin Hicks. Don't have any idea how these people think but thier actions are disgusting!

Doesn't surprise me one bit.

It's sad what certain people think they can get away with. Let all this that just happened this past week, be a wake up call to all of them. An innocent person could have been killed. Take this and let a lesson be learned here. They have found out they are not above the law! I sure as hell didn't vote for Vicky Hunter.

Where are all the people who are so vocal on the other councilmen in Webb..... what about now on this one?

Why are everyone on here attacking the Mayor and family? Why didnt the Chief report on the news when Officer Jackson wreck 2 police cars? Lets just wait and see what happen in court. I'm not a deacon but it's sad that Christians blast people and most of them need to rake around their own door.

Officer Jackson didn't break the law by leaving the scene of an accident. Different set of circumstances. I think that's logical enough.

No one has been attacked! Mr. Hicks has been fortunate till now. He is a master at harrassment because him and his son were trained by Hunters.

How do you know Jackson has not broken any laws? The Chief covers for him. Crooked Cops In Webb.

This is funny. Don't do anything wrong and you won't have a problem. Don't drink and drive fools. You did it to yourselves! Be glad no one was killed.

O.k. why don't we start off with the kind od people that wants to run Webb. Starting off with Snellgrove and her life style. Also Yeager and all the laws that she has broken. Rex Ard,Kim Brown and B. Thomas that runs town hall. Then the other few that attend every council meeting to blast the Mayor. Betty Ivey needs to take care of Lamar, her son which has cause a few divorces but he is a deacon same as R.a. The people in Webb can go to council meeting due to they are scared of the crooked cops in Webb. Just like Senior Center, S.Ard and Betty Ivey will not welcome the blacks. Feed them at home. It's sad. These people call thereselves Christians. Look again they will be back in Church on Sunday. Praise God. I like to know what God are they praying to.

It"s amazing Lance won all the cases that Jackson and friends and sorry a-- family charged him with. smell like lawsuit time. I know old man jackson is tried of this. He need to sell everything and leave two sorry white trash kids and big a-- wife. He is so henpeck it's pitiful.

Vicky Hunter thinks and acts like a member of Hitler's gustopo. If her husband had any balls he would beat the hell out of her for filing a frivilous lawsuit (very expensive) and giving the town a bad name. But Homo's have a reputation of using thier mouth only!
