ya know, i think, that if the fine voters of early county are not gonna vote for the most qualified individual, and vote only for the "most likeable" Barney Fife would be a great "write in", an Election is not a "popularity contest" meaning, we should vote for the most qualified, not the one we like the best, y'all have a nice day now, and keep enjoying my opinions ......

So many people want the job of Sheriff. How much will the starting salary be? Do you know the website to find the information. I know it is public and our taxes pay it.

We need some changes in Early County. Let's put some people in office that will treat all fairly. I

We dont need a sheriff who will be drinking with his buddies tonight, and letting certain ones get away with murder, because of who they are. I wish for once just once, we could get a sheriff in office who will treat everybody the same. He might not be in there but for one term, but for that one term everybody would see how it feels to be on the same level. Ive noticed over the years the ones with money could do anything and everything against the law and get away with it. The ones without money have to pay the price in full, when they dont have much to give. The ones with money should be treated the same way as the ones without money. I know a sheriff has to be political in some aspect, but we voted him in and everybody deserves the same treatment, not some treated like perfect angels just because they have money and some treated like crap because they dont have money. Thank you for reading this and now i feel better to have that off of my chest!!

I am trying to make some. You are so right they have sworn to uphold the law - protect and serve. Let's get on and do the job until the election. Maybe then we will get someone in to meet your standards. Other people feel the same way.

U know they are all going to lie to us to our faces and say they are going to do this and that for us, but it always changes as soon as they get in office!! We do have some fine deputies like Chris Love and Deputy Narramore. At least they have always impressed me. Some people are just good.

Two rednecks, Bubba and Earl, were driving down the road drinking a couple of bottles of Bud. The passenger, Bubba, said "Lookey thar up ahead, Earl, it's a police roadblock!! We're gonna get busted fer drinkin' these here beers!!" "Don't worry, Bubba," Earl said. "We'll just pull over and finish drinkin' these beers then peel off the label and stick it on our foreheads, and throw the bottles under the seat." "What fer?", asked Bubba. "Just let me do the talkin', OK?," said Earl. Well, they finished their beers, threw the empties out of sight & put label on each of their foreheads. When they reached the roadblock, the sheriff said, "You boys been drinkin'?" "No, sir," said Earl while pointing at the labels. "We're on the patch."

It's about 43,000 a year for a county the size of Early County for the next sheriff. If someone is doing it for the salary, they must be mentally impaired.

The cop got out of his car and the kid, who was stopped for speeding, rolled down his window. "I've been waiting for you all day," the cop said. The kid replied, "Yeah, well I got here as fast as I could." When the cop finally stopped laughing, he sent the kid on his way without a ticket.

Isn't it funny that P.Law and Meeks are still working at the S.O. Don't believe Meeks is in the running. Don't know that he seriously even ever considered running for Sheriff. Didn't Enfinger say he had to leave because of the election or some such? It sounds mighty strange to me why they are there and he is gone. What is up good people of Early County? Have a great day.

Just thinking...Enfinger is not even dry behind the ears yet. How old is he about 27 or 28? How many years total work experience does he have? His army experience is not civilian life experience. I would hate for a young guy like him to be in charge of operations for the S.O.How old is P.Law? He looks a little older. How many years has he worked as a deputy or in law enforcement.
