I was there and my son was marching with the Colorado Springs Young Marines. I thought the parade was very inspiring. I just hope that with the incoming president, America continues to appreciate its vets. Thank you to everyone in the military now, in the past, and in the future. And a big Thank You to those that support us. Thank you.

I loved the Young Marines part of the parade. My husband's little brother ( a Marine) is overseas in the war - We miss him and want him to return safely. My husband was never deployed into combat as a Marine. That i am thankful for.

The Young Marines are proud to take part in parades and are proud to represent the best that America has to offer. I hope your Husband's little brother comes home safely, I have completed two combat tours in Iraq and I know what he is going through. Tell him to be safe and to do it to them before they do it to him. God bless.

Well I was there. In fact after serving 20 years in the Military and now being a Disabled Vet. I've avoided these type gatherings. This was my first and I can't express exactly how good it felt. A young scout came up to be and gave me a simple index card saying thanks vets. His name was on the back IZAAC. I thank you for this.

When my husband was enlisted Marine - I signed up for a lab class. The teacher was a Vietnam Vet. He seemed okay with talking about his experiences. I went on to do an internship at a Disabled American Veterans Clinic. One of the best learning experiences of my life. I drew blood from one of the "Frozen Chosin". I was told story after story and happy to listen. Some people just are not educated about veterans and what they have been through. Everyone should know a veteran.

Spreading the Word....
I am truly sorry that I cannot say that I am a vet. I am proud to say that my grandfather, father, and brother are all Veterans. I am best friends with veterans, related to veterans. Thank God for our Veterans and the right and honor to live in this great country.

Thank God, we live in a country that gives the right to argue and disagree, huh? we live in a country that allows the abortion of "unwanted children". Let freedom ring. We live in a country that helps and favors those that feel they are a minority. Let Freedom Ring. We live in a Country that allows a person to decide if they are physically attracted to someone of the same sex, And- give them the "right" to let others know all about it. Let Freedom Ring. Thank"God" I can still purchase and own guns, for now....Let Freedom Ring.
We live in a Country where freedom of religion is often confused with that of freedom from religion. Let Freedom Ring. We live in a country that is approaching the idea once again of partial-birth abortion & born alive to die. Let Freedom Ring. Living in a country that votes in a new president with stong ties with terrorists, muslim background, socialist views, pro abortion...and the list goes on...

How proud would our founding fathers of this country be today? Thank God, thank a vet, and - let Freedom Ring.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Cancer

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
