People fear what they don't know or understand. Buckley is a very smart caring father to his little girls. When asked to lay down your life 5 times early in the war you have to be a bit crazy. To be shot at and wounded and still fighting you have to have that bit of crazy but doing it 5 times will eventually get to anyone. I don't condone his actions with his ex but with the officers they are just as responsible i the officers are making hi

That is not to say anything about his service , for which we are thankful to all the men and women who protect us. However this man is a dangerous, lying, pathetic loser who was that long before he served in the military. His gunshot was not as a result of his service but because he was attacking another person. Just one of the many cons he runs on people, being supported by family who don't want to be embarrassed. IF he turns himself in, it may be the ONLY honorable thing he has ever done. Right now he is a coward.

I know someone who went to school with this man. All that you hear is a lie. This man is a hero who was wrongly convicted by a jealous ex and a crooked police force. Knowing the truth behind this farce, hearing the comments from those of you who have know idea what you're talking just make me laugh. It's pathetic.

I have known John for over 15 years. Ya'll need to get your facts straight. Yes he was shot, but he was not shot in the shoulder while he was deployed. Yes, he has recieved a multiple commendations for his actions and bravery, one of which is a purple heart. And yes, he is on the run, but he is no coward. John has done his part in helping protect and serve our country. I think that it is the governments turn to help him and see that he gets proper care for his particular situation. The military made him into a combat soldier. They trained him to do things that normal civilians wouldn't ever think of doing. They gave him the skills and training, needed in order to protect a country. But what do those soldiers do when they come home? They can't forget their training or their instincts. Their instincts are what kept them alive while on tour. So when they come back home, after fighting in combat, they are expected to go back to "normal living". Yeah right. There are counseling services available for vets for PTSD, but honestly, how much does that actually help? I don't condone John's actions. My thoughts and prayers are with his victim. But I don't think that John is a criminal. If the military helped create him, then they need to help "un create" him.

He was shot in the shoulder by a girlfriend as he struggled over a gun he was threatening her life with. The girlfriend is the daughter of a longtime friend of mine. I picked up her chilrdren in the wee hours of the morning while she went to jail for attempted murder. The charges were dropped later when the police found out what truly happened. He may have been a hero at one time but now he is a dangerous psychopathic man on the loose
