New great local band "Deadwood Creek"

Anyone heard the new up and coming Colorado Springs band Deadwood Creek? Such an amazing band just seen them at Music Street Tavern tonight and was totally blow away by there music. If your in to local music you gotta check out this band.

I caught the show as well at the Music Street Tavern this past Friday Nov. 6th. with Psycho Cabbie, Sangria and Love Dog which are all great bands. Deadwood Creek with their unique sound really blew me away with their complex riffs and melodic vocal melodies. Definitely became a fan of the this great band. Deadwood Creek Rocks!!!

I really like this band how long have the been together. I cant believe i aint heard them before. Im differently going to the next show. I saw them in Pueblo and a place called First Round Draft. They we on point

Yeah i most definitely agree they ROCK!!!. How long have they been together someone said it was only like 6 months. If that's the case these guys are going somewhere. I heard two of the members are from Kentucky or somewhere in the South is this true? If so which two are, Were are the rest of the band from? Also what brought them to Colorado Springs?
I love the songs "Bottoms Up" and "Changing the Weather"

They were awesome when i seen them in Pueblo at the Senate Bar. Although i thought the Sound was better when they played at another bar, i think it was called Shovelhead.

There are a couple of questions asked about this band,1)How long have they been playing 2.)Where did they come from.The band its self has been playing since last May Tyler Halsey and Dave Hatton are from Kentucky, Patrick Madsen From Texas, and Trent Parsons from Pennsylvania. We did our first live show in July at the shovel Head Saloon here in Colorado Springs. The reason that they came to be Deadwood Creek was they have a sound that mixes old and new styles of music that captures younger and older listeners. Its apparent when you see them live no one leaves. So for the most part the band is from the South? Well that's interesting how 4 guys from 4 different states are now jamming together. I think that's a unique story all in its own. They rock can't wait to watch them at there next show. I think is a place called Union Station.

So most of the band is from the South. That's pretty cool considering where there at now. I thought i heard some Southern flavor in a couple of there tunes. I love "Changing the Weather" it's Southern meets new age rock or that's how it hits me. The fact that there all from different states and now are in this band together kicking ass is an awesome story all in its own. I'll differently be at the next show. I'm so there. I've only heard there stuff on myspace so far. I haven't got to see them live yet but im most certainly looking forward to it. Plus what a great Venue the Union Station is a great place to hear live local music and toss a couple shots back. See you guys there!!

I'm excited to see this band play. I've never seen them live but i will Saturday at union station. I hope they put on the show everyone is saying they do cause I'm a hard critic. I like the myspace music It remains me of the older style music with a new edge.
