No, I highly doubt anyone refered to Elvis, Janis Joplin, or Metallica as being absolute garbage wanna-be-horror shock rap/rock who's whole purpose is appealing to the lowest common denominator, while writing blatantly horrible music, with absolute garbage lyrical content. Sure, they are a multi-million dollar empire, and if all you are about is money, one you are a sell out, and two, good for you, you greedy scum ball, but if what you are is about creating art, and doing something meaningful, then they and you have blatantly failed at life.

You are obviously a jaded moron. Most bands actually get in it for the art, because most know that their chance of "making it big" are slim, speaking in pure statistics. Some bands are only about money, and those are usually ousted as sell-outs, or are absolute shit anyway (See-ICP).

My sympathy goes out to anyone whose child has been hurt in any way. But you have to know for sure that your facts are actually facts before saying some of the things I've heard here. The ICP represented by the clothing is a 2-man rap/metal group. They have no affiliation whatsoever with anyone street gang who also call themselves ICP. Chances are those letters have a far different origin for the street gang than they did for the musicians.
I'm 53 and while I don't listen to this duo a young adult in my family does. You have to be sure that your facts are actually facts before stating them as such. I have to say I pity anyone who thinks that telling somebody how to dress is going to solve anything. You have to reach what's in the heart and the mind to do that. Being too much "iron fist" is just going to give the person being restrained that much more determination to release the restraints. Then, not only have you not gotten through to them but the problem has become much worse. A school district needst o really address the problem and this kind of "you can wear this but you can't wear that" just puts a very temporary band-aid on the whole problem.
